Arrival Story:
When my beloved Darv died, I intended to wait until after Christmas to get a new cat. However, both Hekuba and I were bereft. I was out to the city in mid-October for a medical appointment and Christmas shopping and decided that I couldn't wait to find a new bundle of furriness to join my life. I went to the Humane Society in Winnipeg and there just happened to be a cat adoption sale. There she was, sitting in her cage all lonely and I saw the name. Minuet. Given that I am a musician, I knew this was some sign. When I petted her, she purred on contact and demanded to be scratched a certain way and I knew she would stand up to my princess at home.
Bio:
I am a Hallowe'en kitty who was left behind by my first family. They took good care of me, got my vaccinations and had me fixed then decided they didn't want me anymore. I was so glad when my mum brough me home. I still worry about being left behind sometimes, so I talk to my mum a lot to make sure she is still there.
