Arrival Story:
A few months after my old cat Stormy died, I began to visit the local animal shelter every time I was in the area. One day while walking through, a pair of gorgeous blue eyes peered out of one of the cages, along with one of the most pitiful meows I have ever heard. I inquired about the cat and was told he was a "stray" and would be available the next day for adoption. I put a hold on him, and was back the next morning when they opened to formally adopt my furry friend.
Bio:
Bailey is very different from any cat I've ever had. His personality is almost doglike, not at all aloof or finicky. And he loves water; you can imagine our surprise the first time my husband was in the shower and was joined by a cat who jumped in and stood under the water until he was completely drenched. We have learned that the bathroom door must be closed tightly or this crazy cat will be in the stall as soon as he hears running water. We have had to give him his own bath towel! Otherwise he is a very gentle and passive boy, good with young children and other animals, and all in all just a very special cat

Hello, my name is Bailey. I was adopted from the shelter last Christmas, and I was named after George Bailey from my Mom's favorite Christmas movie,"It's a Wonderful Life". I do have a wonderful life, playing with my cat-sister Lucy, and my dog-sisters Sadie and Gracie. I love water, and will take a shower with my human family members any chance I get. I also like to watch TV, usually while lying on the coffee-table. My Dad always said he wasn't a "cat person", but I've converted him. My sister Lucy and I will get to travel with Mom and Dad to Sturgis, SD this summer for Bike Week. I can hardly wait!!
