Arrival Story:
We found him in a pet store when I was eight and he was in a cage with a really hyper and mean cat, he was huddled in the corner of the cage and my mom felt sorry for him and we took him home that day.

Bio:
Max has moved as many times as I have. We started in New Jersey where he had a brother(not blood related), Rex, and then moved to north carolina a few years later. While in NC he was an indoor/outdoor cat and one day was shot by a gun. He was rushed to the hospital(after he drug himself all the way home and was in shock on the front porch). He was in surgery all night long and eventually got to come home a week later. He was sick for a while, but eventually pulled through. He now only has a quarter of kidney left and that was about 9 years ago and he's still going strong. Also while in NC he was swung by the tail by a German Shepard. He had it coming though since he always teased the dog through the fence. He was also in charge of our two labs, he chased them, never the opposite way around. His brother Rex died when they were 9, so max has been the only cat for a while now. Since NC max has moved back to NJ for several years and then to tennessee three years ago. Since in TN he has moved six times. Two of those times he has lived with other cats and got along great with them.

Yesterday daddy let me outside while he cleaned out his car. Oh how I love to go outside. I rolled around, scratched my paws on the trees, and sniffed everything. By the time it was time to go inside my pretty black fur was yellow! Daddy says I was covered in pollen. Mama and Daddy gave me a warm bath and although I thought I would hate it at first, it was great. I just stood there and got aall clean. I might have to consider this bath thing again someday. : )
