Does anyfur know if HQ is on vacation? our subscription is about to expire and we have tried to call them over the last few days several times ~ no answer ~ we have also emailed support but haven't heard from them either. a couple of years ago we sent them a check which sat on the desk for a couple of weeks even after we called to ask about it so we are afraid to do that again!
hmmm maybe they have closed up shop, or they are taking a nap, or California finally did break off and float into the ocean (we've been hearing that rumor for years.
we still are not getting any notifications for pictures, comments, honors or anything else and haven't for quite a while. but we just gave up on that 'sigh' we sure do miss the old efficient catster, but those magical days are gone as are so many of our dear furiends.
please if anyone knows how to get in touch with HQ let us know

update: the ever Faithful Watch Cat just got back to us saying someone will get with us soon. He is always encouraging and nice but we will just wait and see ~~~
Anna we don't know but we are seeing A LOT A LOT A LOT of spam. Boy I just don't think they care about this site anymore. It's a darned shame.
That's pretty sad when you can't even pay them money *scratches head thinks to himself, sure not what it use to be that's for sure*, I agree Anna so many of our furiends have long gone from here, you think that would tell them something, just sayin~

Meowmy wrote to HQ a while ago about some of the spam in hers and other's pages, and they have been contacting her...and cleaning out the spam, they even got some other info that meowmy had saved from the spammers to try and trace them and put a stop to it...so...well, they are there...we sure hope your issues get resolved and fixed.

Thanks my sweet furiends, but it seems hopeless. since Monday we have called several times, no answer: left our phone number, no calls: emailed, no answer. if by Tuesday they don't get in touch with us (they aren't there Sat and Sun) that means we lose so many of our beautiful pictures and all of the things on the right side of our page. hopefully they won't take away my prezzies!!
at first we were anxious, then spitting mad, now just so very sad. if they don't call today mom plans on saving all our pictures on a flash drive. we have copies of most of them but not all.
we may even lose our decorated pages that mom has spent hours and hours on. maybe they just don't want us here anymore. but you know what until they make us leave we will just hang on ~ we have too many wonderful furiends that we just can't imagine not seeing anymore.
we must tell you Watch Cat has answered all our frantic emails courteously and quickly. he has always been there for us to help with problems. unfortunately this is not one he can solve. so we give him 5 Stars for being such a good furiend.

I totally agree with you about the watch cat, he is very nice and always gets back with us, if we can do anything to help you please let us know, *shakes head thinks to himself has catster gone to the dogs*

Sorry you are having such problems....Mom had to contact HG a few months ago and they answered promptly and were helpful, this gave Mom hope as there had been some negatives associated with the site. We hope Catster will continue and continue in a positive way, with all it's glitches it still has potential to remain an excellent site for cat lovers.

Update: still nothing from HQ after five days and lots of calls and email. so we bit the bullet and got paypal. it seems everything must be 'online' anymore to work. we probably seem old fashioned but we feel everytime we put more private information on line there is more of a chance of someone hacking it (we have been hacked before)
but we love our catster furiends and can't really imagine not seeing them and sharing with them so~~~ we are now set up to renew.

We've been using 'Paypal' now for four years and have never had any problems with paying over the Internet. Living in England, I guess, we've had NO choice in the matter. Mind you, have never been bothered by them.
In all these years...! Even if they do so happen to know where we live ect...! Don't worry about being 'old fashioned'. I think, it makes life more exciting, personally. Have a nice day, purrs....!
Anna you can feel very safe with paypal, we have had it for a long time and momcat and dadcat will not purchase anything unless they accept paypal.
We were gonna try again on Monday to get your catster plus renewed with our acc, there is no way we were gonna lose you and your precious family, actually they should accept just a charge card if that's what people prefer to use, just makes no sense to me, *so happy for sweet Anna and furmily *runs to tell the Angels the good news*, oh I can see my sisfurs they are doing the 'Bono Boogie' they are happy too, Big Hugs and Kisses Angel Sonny Bono~
