Arrival Story:
When we moved from the Seattle area to Honolulu in January 2004 all of our wonderful darling kitties passed away with six months of one another. First Nutmeg, 14, of lymphoma, then Pendragon, 20, of a heart attack, then Mephers, 14, of a stroke. Two weeks after Mephers passed I visited a local pet supply store to ask if they ever got cats in. They said rarely then asked what particular breed was I looking for? Main Coons, I told them. Six days later I received a call from a lady who had two Main Coon kittens for sale. The next day my husband and I went to see them. They were adorable at 13 weeks old. How could we not bring them home? They are now The Princelings and rule the household with firm paws.
