Pouncing dustbunnies!

Closed doors, getting hissed at by my sister

Favorite Toy:
Mummy's shoes!

Favorite Nap Spot:

Favorite Food:

Can open any door

Arrival Story:
Mac was literally left on our doorstep in a cat carrier as a kitten. We opened the door to find him there, scared and confused (and rather messy as he'd gone to the toilet in there...). We got him out and he spent the next two days hiding behind our kitchen cupboards before he felt brave enough to come out, by which time we'd fallen in love with him!

Mac protects us and the house from the dangers of dustbunnies and other invisible (to us) threats. Unfortunately, he still hasn't worked out why his sister Jelli doesn't like playing and gets bopped on the nose a lot for his trouble.

I caught a bee today!

I didn't know it was a bee at first - it was just a big buzzing thing that was flying all round the room when I was trying to sleep in the nice sunny spot, so I waited till it got close to me and then I POUNCED it!

Jelli said afterwards that it was a bee and that it could have stung me and it would have hurt, but I don't think it did as I don't hurt anywhere. And then I got to go back to sleep in my sunny spot.

Daddy was happy with me when he found out though, because apparently Daddy doesn't like bees! So I did a good thing, and I got to sleep in the sunny spot!

It's been a Good Day.

Mummy set this thing up for me, and now she's said I can use it to talk to other cats and their owners!

So, my name's Macavity, and I live with my Mummy and Daddy (and my grumpy sister Jelli). Mummy says they got me because someone left me on their doorstep when I was a little kitten because they couldn't look after me any more, but I don't really remember that.

I have an important job in our house, and that's to make sure that the dustbunnies don't get any of my family. I have to pounce them a lot to make sure they don't get out of line. I also don't trust Mummy or Daddy's shoes, as whenever they put them on they go away for a while, and I don't like that. So I try to pounce them whenever I can as well.

Mummy also says I've got barn cat ears, but I don't know what that means. One of their friends says I'm not a cat, I'm a sheep because I've gotten really big since Mummy and Daddy took me in, but he's just being silly. I don't even know what a sheep is.
