They Say It's My Birthday!

Happy Birthday to meeeee!
Mee wow! I am a whole four years old today. Momma told me that means that I am now a fully mature RagaMuffin. I must say that I do feel purrty grown up and I am feeling purrty darned handsome too. MOL!

I would also like to thank my sweet family and Catster furrends for all of the greetings, special wishes, rosies and gifties. Big hugs, purrs, and head bonks to the following for honoring me in such a pawsome way: Elijah, Sterling, Cypher, & Neo (Layer Cake), Momma, PawPaw, and my furry family (Layer Cake), Cannoli and Family (Chocolate Cupcake), Katie (Pawty Hat).

And last but certainly not least, Thank you Catster HQ for the extra treats and stars and allowing me to participate in the Birthday Stroll with all of the other pawsome kitties who are celebrating their birthday today.

I Have a New Name!

Momma and Auntie are calling me "Bulldozer Mikey" now. Last night I decided it would be nice to sleep on Auntie's super soft bed. It was pawsome. I slept like a baby and apparently so did Auntie because when the sun came up, I was feeling a little hungry and tried to wake Auntie up so she could feed me. Well! Try as I might, I couldn't get Auntie to wake up! I tried all of my usual tactics. I stood on her and stared at her. Then I revved up my purr motor to full throttle. When that didn't work, I rubbed my face against her's and even let my teeth sort of graze her cheek a little bit. Meow! Even THAT didn't work. By now I was getting quite purr-plexed and my tummy was getting really growly so I really had to put on my thinking cap and come up with a no-fail plan.
Ah-ha! This is when I really used my head ...literally! I dug under Auntie's pillow and used my head like a bulldozer to push, push, push, with all of might against the pillow so I could shove Auntie out of her bed! Whoo Hoo! Finally! Auntie woke up and took notice of my needs and before I knew it, I was chowing down on some yummy chicken breakfast.
Sometimes you have be a little "pushy" to get what you want, ya know??

Visitors!

I love it when visitors come to our house. I just wear myself out pouring on the charm and usually have to spend the entire next day resting up, but it sure is fun. A nice man and lady came to see us the other day so I made sure that I showed them all around and introduced them to effurrbody. They petted me a lot and told me how big and handsome I am and how soft my fur is. When I plunked myself down next to them and laid my head in their laps, they decided that they wanted to take me back home to a place called Ohio with them. I was thinking that would be a purrty neat adventure but I heard my Meowmy telling the man and lady that lots of people always want to take me home but she would never, ever, ever, let me go because she and PawPaw love me too much.

Ahh- shucks! I sure do feel special hearing people say such nice things about me. Truth be told, I would never want to really leave my Momma and PawPaw and my wonderful family.... even though I walked our visitors to the door when they left and stayed by the window, watching for them to come back for a little while. I knew I am right where I belong. I do hope some more visitors drop by soon though... it is a real hoot being adored by as many people as pawsible!

Sending a big thank you to Catster HQ for choosing my sister, Bitta, as the Diary of Day yesterday! She sure got a lot of attention and I tried very hard not to be jealous... Meow!
