Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Holy paws and whiskers! It has been raining and raining and raining! Enough already!

We saw on the news that some poor people and kitties are having to move out of their homes because there is no place for all of the water to go but inside of their homes. I am very glad that my family and I live up on top of a big hill so we don't have to worry about water coming in, but I'm so sorry for all of those who are having to deal with this.

It is sort of strange because just two years ago we were in the middle of a big draught and were pawraying for rain!

Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow... Tomorrow! Tomorrow! May the sun shine tomorrow!

Our Special Furrend

Whoo Hoo! Our special furrend, *ARYEH*, is being honored as Catster Cat of the Week!

We are very pawroud of our dear furrend and we cannot think of anyone more deserving of such a pawsome honor!

I'm home!

Well, I am really happy to be back home. While I slept through my dental cleaning and mouth x-rays, the Vet found out that I have a sore on the underside tip of my tongue. No wonder it was hard for me to eat! The Vet says it is probably the Calici virus as it is known to manifest itself in the form of mouth sores. I have no idea how I would have gotten something like this but I get to take pain meds for seven days so I am sure I will be feeling a whole lot better once this virus runs its course with me.

Momma says I can't babysit the kittens anymore 'cause they haven't been vaccinated for Calici yet. I'll miss them but I know I have to stay away from them for their own good. We are not 100% sure I actually have the Calici virus but we can't take any chances.

I appreciate all the purrs and pawrayers. Thank you Catster furrends, you are the BEST!
