Arrival Story:
Mummy had been thinking about getting a new cat and had thought she'd like to get an adult grey male kitty to keep her cat company. She found Catster thru a friend and saw my thread on the Adoptions Forums and within a week she'd brought me home to see if Nefret & I could get along. Within a few days we were napping side by side and being nuzzly, so I'm now settled in my new home! My foster mom who took care of me after I was brought into the Petsmart in Garner, NC as a 2 week old kitten raised me until I was adopted when I was 14 weeks old by a young couple. However, they got orders overseas and had no family that could take me till they returned. So they gave me back to my foster mom to find me a good forever home. And she did!

Bio:
Since I was brought in so young I am lucky to know my birthday! And I'm a "Fish Kitty" (may explain why I love bathing in the tub so much - sans water) --- The Male Pisces Cat is sensitive and loving but somewhat unstable. He can be extremely changeable, doing one thing and then turning around and doing exactly the opposite. He has been known to bite the hand that feeds him. He is very perceptive but seldom sees the shortcomings in those he loves. He loves to go first class all the way.

A lazy birthday

I turned 4 today. Mummy says that in human years I'm 32 - and she just turned 32 a week or so ago. Cool, huh?

She probably hopes I'll start to calm down, but I made sure she knew I was still active and fit. THEN I passed out on the couch at her feet... I think she got incriminating photos.

The stairs! The perches!

We moved this weekend. The new place is soooooo coool. There's a loft and there's this cubbard up in the loft that I can get to from hopping on the desk to the bookshelf and DUDE! IT'S SO HIGH UP!! I can see EVERYTHING! Mummy said she is gonna have to get a cat bed to put up there so we'll have a sunny soft spot.

Plus, the stairs are fun to run up and down.

And the boxes! Ooh, every time one empties out I get to sit in it. I love sitting in boxes.

It has been a busy few days and I am tired though, running up and down stairs 25 times an hour does get one worn out, even if you are a young, busy cat like me.

But, the best part is me and Nefret curled up w/mummy in our new bedroom. The bed's right at a window so we can sit curled up and look out and get sun.

I don't know which room I like best, that one or the loft with a warm skylight. But then there's that new thing called a "fireplace" that mummy said will be a nice spot to curl up in front of and be warm. Not sure what that's about yet - she keep saying she's waiting for more boxes to get taken down.

p.s. I am proud to report I have not torn down a Christmas tree this year. I did play w/the cranberries but after several squirts of water that lost it's fun.

Yay for Brownies!

My human cousin's Brownie Troop is doing "Operation Happy Sock" and I wish I had socks to donate!

It's kinda nifty - the lil humans stuff old, mismatch socks with stuffing and cat nip. Then they take em to the animal shelter.
