Arrival Story:
When Milton died, I wanted to adopt another kitty. So we found an animal rescue place and went to see one kitty named Bo. I looked him up on the internet and was interested in meeting him. Well, Bo had a problem with his front paw that they were having checked. We did get to see him but he didn't really want anything to do with us. So we continued to look in several rooms that they have. Punkin, formerly known as Patricia, was so sweet that she put her paws up on my husbands shoulder and licked his cheek and purred and purred....My husband fell for her. I wasn't too sure about getting her (since I usually always had male kitties in the house?) We continued to look around and found Mikey who was such a loverboy. He climbed in my lap and curled up. We didn't get to take a cat home that day but I called the next day to tell them we wanted both Mikey and Punkin. They came home on Dec. 4, 2006!

Punkin was only 2-3 days old when she was found in a box, by a high school, with her littermates. Someone recued them and she spent the next 4 years living in the shelter. All of her brothers and sisters were adopted but her. She had never seen a tv and never lived in a house. She's so sweet and loveable but when she wants attention, she'll come to you. She's still a bit jumpy but also very independent! Petite and sweet!
