i am a bad bad Moozer for not writing about this sooner.
On 9/23/09 a package came...for ME.
It was a Hazel Lucy Tranquility Blanket from my beloved Kujo.
She is always so thoughtful...
There was also a lovely card with get well wishes.
i feel her love...especially when Mom wraps me in this blanket.
Thank you, my love.
My mouth infection has been knocked back, for now. My vet really really wants to do a dental on me. She says she wouldnt put me completely under, just twilight sleep, but Mom is terrified. i have a Class III heart murmur and i need an echo to know whats causing it. Money is tight. So, for now, we are just taking it one day at a time.
i no longer have to take the Clindamycin, as after 10 days it will have done its job.
i am feeling better. i am eating soft, pate type food and i am playing! Can you believe that?? im 17 and i love playing with mouses!
Yesterday was an amazing day.
Last Tuesday a B&W kitty was killed in the street.
We have/had 2 outside...MooMoo and Oreo.
MooMoo is 2 and an unaltered male and Oreo is 5, born with only 3 feet.
It makes sense that it would be MooMoo, with his roaming and all but then Oreo could have been scared into the street by an creepy guy who hangs out at the marina and hates cats...
Yesterday morning we were still perplexed as we havent seen either of them since Monday...
Around 12pm, Mom looked out the window and there was MooMoo at the feeding station eating.
i guess we now know it was Oreo who was killed. This is so sad because she had such a hard life with a only 3 feet but she never let that stop her...until now.
Then around noon, a neighbor heard a kitten crying and lured this kitten to them...she has to be Oreo's baby...she was waiting for her Mama to come back, but after 5 days, when she didnt come back, this feisty baby cried for help...and we helped her.
Mom gave her a flea bath and then brought her inside.
She ate a whole jar of turkey baby food right away, and later had some KMR.
Mom thinks its a she, but will know more tomorrow after the trip to the v-e-t.
She is a tiny little thing, but seems no worse for wear...
i will ke peveryone posted as to her progress...
im sure Mom will make a page for her soon, but in the meantime, her picture is on my page...
i think she will be named Lucky Lizzy, after the nice neighbor who found her.
Welcome sweet baby.
We recently learned that this past Tuesday, July 21, a B&W cat was found dead in the street near the gate to our marina. We didnt see the body.
My Mom and Dad care for 7 outside cats known as The Marina Catz!. There is Mama, Sola, Zippie, Sonnie, Ginger, MooMoo and Oreo.
They are missing both B&W, MooMoo and Oreo, who have not been seen since Monday. They are sure the dead cat was one of them, but then where is the other??
Here comes the part that makes my Moms blood boil.
There is a guy who isnt supposed to live here, but he continues to hang around. He was near the gate around the time this happened. What if he scared the cat and it ran out the gate and was hit? And what if he did something to the other one.
We are beside ourselves.
On Monday, Mom & Dad are going to talk to an electric company that has video cameras on the street. They are hoping they may be able to see something.
MooMoo is only 2 years old and a darling boy and Oreo, 5, was born with just 3 feet and yet she managed to survive all these years only to have such a tragic end.
No matter what happened, Oreo and MooMoo are gone...and we are all so very sad this night.
