Arrival Story:
I got Yellow when she was 14. My downstairs neighbors at the time had to get rid of her and didn't want to bring her to a shelter at her advanced age. She had already tried another home but was rejected, because she had a bad habit of biting and pooping outside the litterbox. I was asked to adopt Yellow and the rest is history. She was a very special kitty and I wish I'd met her earlier

Bio:
Yellow was very sweet once you learned her "rules." She could be very cantankerous and bite without warning for infractions such as too much petting. She only liked to be petted on her head for a certain number of times. You could pet her back very gently for maybe one or two times before she would give the "Terminator look." Any continued contact after the Terminator look would result in a furious attack. It was harmless as she didn't have any teeth left. Yellow cat had hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. She died of kidney failure at age 20 on January 9th, 2007. We miss her very much.
