Arrival Story:
When Mom and Dad adopted me at the shelter, my records showed my exact birthday which is rare for shelter kitties. That's because I was born in a carpet mill. The workers there think my mother was dropped beside the busy highway nearby and made her waY to the mill. They took care of her and after we kittens were born, took us to an excellent no-kill shelter and we were all placed in good homes. I'm purring my thanks to the kind people there.

"Burds"

We have to agree with The Tabbies of Trouttown, burds may not be the brightest of creatures, or they may be the most cunning? Momcatt has had a feeder out side for over 2 months-in the back where she can see it from her favorite chair and not ONE seed has been eaten. Dad moved it to the front and now they are flocking to it????? Trouble is, no one, including kitties, can see it....any suggestions?

Christmas and Birds

We had a very nice Christmas with rain this year, no snow yet. Mom picked up bird seed, safflower, that critters other than birds are not supposed to like. Well, apparently the birdies don't like it either. The feeder has been up 4 days and NOT ONE BIRDIE has been to eat. We're waiting patiently, we like bird watching, and are disappointed that no one likes our seed :(

After my "fall" yesterday I'm glad to report that I survived with no injuries. I'm moving normally and I'm not sore! Mom and I are so relieved. Many thanks to my furrriends who sent me catcerned and encouraging messages. Drat, Mom has removed my jumping up shelf so no more peering down from on high.
Hugs from Mister Micky
