Arrival Story:
We found Nikki in a large park in Phoenix, AZ. She was living off people trash and birds. The first time we saw her, she was eating a bean burrito from the trash. Nikki was somewhat feral. It took 4 adults to catch her. We took her home & she never had a problem with us or the other pets. She would lay near you & sometimes on your lap purring so loudly. She was a very sweet kitty. She made a 2000 mi. trip no problem when her family moved. She didn't like to be held or petted unless she decided. Her pupils always looked like cracked glass. She didn't seem to have good vision often misjudging heights. The Vet said she was probably an abuse victim of some terrible people & suffered skull injuries : - ( She had the sweetest little meow. When she would allow to pet her, she would look up @ you so lovingly.

Bio:
Nikki developed a bladder tumor & became very ill. We couldn't operate as it had spread quickly. We were honored to be her home for the last 8 yrs of her life. She's now at the Rainbow Bridge with all her friends. We miss you Nikki !! xoxoxox
