Arrival Story:
Marnie is one of Naomi's kittens whom I rescued last year. An elderly lady said someone had dropped off the mother in 2005 and she was pregnant. When Naomi had her kittens they took them to the local shelter when they were old enough but they couldn't catch one kitten, whom I named Rachel. Last summer she asked if I could take 2 pregnant females who were both ready to have kittens. I didn't have any more room. When she told me she couldn't feed them any more I started to feed them. In September I found the kittens all huddled together under some lilac bushes sleeping on the damp ground. They had eye infections, had ear mites and fleas. A local vet treated the kittens and when they were 8 weeks old I brought them home. Both mothers nursed all the kittens and I was thrilled when a friend adopted both mothers together. I have all five kittens, 3 of whom are available for adoption. Marnie is one I am keeping as she is very attached to me.

Bio:
Marnie loves Careforme and usually sleeps with him and sometimes sleeps with Matai. She loves to knead and Careforme seems to enjoy her company. Matai pins her so she can't knead him. She is the smallest of the kittens and looks like Naomi but has orange accents throughout her fur. She is the cutest little thing and carries her tail in a curl over her back like her sister Robbie does. Rachel is in one picture with Marnie on the left and Robbie on the right.
