Mom's family owned a Cafe (Friendly Cafe), while she had us.
As a result, we fur folk were home alone a lot. That was one of the reasons they kept several.
They didn't like us to be lonely.
We were about 2 & a half when a friend of the family gave Mom TinkerBelle.
She was a sweet little puppy, but was she a terror, uh Terrier.
She loved to run. A little whirlwind. She ran through everything, encluding the money being counted from the cafe, & the receipts being gotten ready for taxes. She did get into trouble.
She was just settling down to be a very nice pup when it happened.
Suddenly, she had terrible stomach pains.
Mom sat & held her. TinkerBelle died in terrible pain.
Mom's Dad thought a man down the street fed her glass in hamburger.
Mom didn't know then, but now thinks it might have been the kidney stones that so many Schnauzer's get.
The nearest vet was in Victorville, many miles away.
It was a shame either way. She was a sweet, loving little dog once she started settling down. She was only 6 months old.

Hello everyone, mom says everyone can read this. That's fine. I have nothing to hide.
Pepper & I are twins as you can see, except for my white tuft. He is sold gray/black tiger stripes.
Blue was the first of the Lucerne Valley family members. Mom bought him at a pet shop in Victorville. That's 26 miles from Lucerne Valley.
Pepper & I were given to Mom's father when Blue was about 4 months old.
We got along fine from the start.
They had 2 dogs down in L.A. Buster 2, the beagle was one of them.
ComSa's mother, Princess was the other.
Mom isn't giving her a page becaue she was only with us for 2 weeks, & had to be given to a nice older couple because the house was too cold for her.
She was very pretty. ComSa's father was the Pomeranian across the street.
Another dog named Ajax was with us for a month. He started fights with Buster 2, so was given to a rancher. Ajax was half Norwegian Elkhound, half German Shepherd.
His mother was Queenie, the Elkhound.
