Hi everykitty,
Hope all is well with you and your furmilies. I've got to say, that getting old is tough. There are days that I'm feeling my age, but I've always been a mellow kitty, so maybe I've even more mellow now. Who knows? *giggles* But don't count this old kitty out, I've got plenty of spunk when I want to use it. Ever since I lost all that weight and had that growth removed, I have been purrty peppy. Especially when momma goes in the cabinet, and I know my special toy is in there and I come running from where ever I am and cry to play, I may not be able to jump as high but I'm gonna get it!!! MOL.
There's not too much stuff going on, same as usual. I do like the snowman rug in the kitchen, so I'm always laying on it, and luckily, nobody steps on me when they need to use the sink.
Today momma put on the Christmas collars and we took our annual picture, this time with momma, daddy did it last year, this year was mommy's turn. Sophie was a brat as usual, but that's nothing new! I've been a real good girl this year, and I know Santa will bring me something special! Oh wait, we got our present early, Tony won the Nascar championship!
Meowy Catmas furriends!!!
Love,
Bella

Hi Kitties!
Momma is a bad momma and furgot to update my diary after Dr. Troy called and gave mom the results from the pathology. They came back NEGATIVE!!!! Yay!!!
No cancer! Dr. Troy told momma that the growth was a result from the infected tooth that they removed. The infected tooth was one of my upper teeth and the growth was on the lower gumline, but I guess that can happen sometimes. Momma was so happy, she burst into tears and then scooped me up and we spun around the room together.
Thank you to all my furriends that sent their good thoughts and well wishes and I'm sorry that I didn't have mom post the results right away. Like I said, "bad mommy!"
Yesterday was my Gotcha Day! I've been in my furever home for 9 years, so mom and auntie pulled out some old pictures from when I first came home and I sure was a small kit! Not quite as little as Sophie was when she came home, but I was a little one! Purrty cute too! I still snuggle up with daddy as much as possible and get my morning lovins from daddy after mommy gets up and goes in the shower. I guess some things never change!
It's almost Halloween and I bet mom is going to make us wear our devil or witchy hats - I better tell Sophie to watch out!
Happy Fall kitties!!!
Love,
Bella
PS. Mom help us change our wallpaper!!! LOL

It's been awhile since I asked momma to help me with my diary - sorry about that.
Fur the most part not much has been going on. Momma did have another surgery back in May and she spent the summer with us, which was nice. Sophie grew up so fast, and she's a chubby kit! She eats and eats and eats! MOL!
So, fur awhile I had an ear infection, first momma thought maybe I had ear mites and bought some meds from the store, and it seemed to be working at first, cuz my ears would clear up and then a couple of weeks later they would come back. So mom knew she'd have to make an appointment with Dr. Troy.
During this time, mom had noticed that I had lost some weight, she didn't worry about it, because mom figured that since Sophie graduated to "adult" food and there was the three of us that I probably lost a couple of pounds that Dr. Troy always said me and Tally needed to lose anyway.
Last week, I was asking fur some ham from mom's sandwich and she saw that I was tilting my head to the side to eat. This totally freaked mom out and she tried to look in my mouth but I wouldn't let her. She immediately called Dr. Troy on Monday and I was able to get in on Tuesday. Tuesday comes, and Auntie comes over to come with and I go into the carrier like a good girl and off we go.
I really like Dr. Troy (mom says he's cute) he's so nice, and he calls me Isabelle *giggles*. Mom tells him about my ears and how I'm eating on one side. He looks in my ears and says that I got something going on in there and then he tries to look in my mouth. Well, no matter how much I like Dr. Troy I wasn't letting him in my mouth without some kind of fuss.
Eventually, he got a quick peek and he saw some kind of "growth" on my gumline. He tells mom that, and she gets a little upset and scared and I see her eyes starting to water and Dr. Troy tells her not to "count her chickens till their hatched". I'm like what chickens? MOL. Dr. Troy tells mom that we need to have the growth removed and that he can fit me in on Thursday. He tells mom that I didn't have ear mites, but a bacterial infection. I have to get my ears cleaned twice a day and then ear drops. As of today, my ears do feel much better.
Oh yea, onto Thursday. Luckily, mom & dad have vacation and they bring out the carrier and in I go. My surgery went well and I ended up having a tooth removed as well as the growth. I got to come home the same day and boy was I out of it! I was so wobbly, and couldn't even get my balance, but I sure was hungry! Mom gave me some soft food and I ate it as best I could, but I was so tired I almost feel asleep on my food plate.
I'm feeling much better today, I've tried to eat some bits of kibble which is going okay, I can't wait until my mouth feels better so I can totally eat normal again!
I sure don't like my meds though! Tonight I really put up a fight and I spit some of my antibotics back at daddy! *giggles*. My pain meds make me kind of tired though.
Please send me good thoughts that the pathology tests will come back negative.
Love,
Tired and doped up Bella
