Good Scratching

I scratched up mommy last night for disturbing while I was trying to sleep. Buffy threw up a hairball on mommy's bed (that was really funny) so mommy had to wash all her bedding!!!! Well, anyway, I decided I wanted to lay right on top of the bedding and take a nap when mommy wanted to wash it. She picked me up to move me to another place and I said "meow" and scratched her hand. I didn't mean to make her hand bleed. I guess it's time for mommy to cut my nails again. When I tried to suckle on her arm this morning, she said it hurt and that it was time for a nail clipping. I don't mind getting my nails clipped. Buffy hates it but as long as I get to suckle while she does it, I'm ok.

I've taken a couple days off from hunting since mommy was so upset on Sunday when I brought in the bird. I haven't even brought in a grasshopper or lizard!!!! I' m being really nice to mommy (except for scratching her).

Mommy embarrassed me

Mommy got mad at me last night because I started hissing at another kitty and then walked into the street. She came running outside to get me but I was already walking towards her. She picked me up and said "Do you know what a car is?". Duh, of course I know what a car is!!!!! She said that if I walked in the street that a car might hit me and was very upset!!!!! Then she said that I was grounded for a day and she would close the kitty door. She didn't do it though. She always says she is grounding me then doesn't do it, at least not for long. I don't normally go into the street. I stay in the yard except when I visit the two next door neighbors. Mommy doesn't like me to go anywhere else. Usually I just hang around the back yard. Mommy says "never cross the street unatteneded". She even says this to other people's cats. She's so embarrassing.
