Arrival Story:
Some friends had taken in a stray and her 3 kittens, but they didn't realize that the momma was due to have kittens again. A short while later she had 5 kittens, but the family didn't have space for all of the cats so they put the second litter up for adoption. When we went to pick one out, TJ seemed to be the most friendly and was very calm and cuddly so we decided to pick him. Now that we have him, he is anything but calm most of the time.

Last night I was trying to play with my brother, but he didn't want to play, so mom scooped me up and told me she was going to take me to get something fun. She reached into a bag and pulled out a ball with a string attached to it. She told me that it was a ball of yarn she no longer needed and I was allowed to play with it. What joy! Before I knew it, I had it all over the stairs and the landing and wrapped around myself. This thing is great! Since mom gave it to me, I don't let my brother near it. He tries to play with it when I'm not looking, especially when I'm eating, but I see him and pounce on him. I was so thrilled by my new toy that I didn't have any time last night to pull down the rope caulk from the window in our bedroom like I normally do at night (yes, we cats have our own bedroom). Mom told me to be good today, so I'll try...key word is try.
