Arrival Story:
I wasn't married at the time and wanted a second kitty-kid but had a rash of bad luck finding one that both got along with my other "children" AND could handle living in an apartment (at the time). I like BIG, fluffy cats that like to play and cuddle too. I've only ever had "pound kitties" and decided to research purebreads just for some predictability and based on the description in the Cat Fancier's Encyclopedia I thought that a Ragdoll sounded like a good fit. I found a breeder in Idaho Falls, ID and took a weekend to drive up and meet her litter. There was no question which kitten I wanted as it was love at first sight, so I put down a deposit and when he was 10 weeks old, I drove back to Idaho to bring him home. He's been with me every since. I love, love, LOVE this kitty. He's a great source of joy and entertainment in our family.

Bio:
Truman is a very "special" kitty in sort of a short-bus way. He acts more like a dog than a cat sometimes. He likes to lay on his back and get his belly rubbed. He frequently wrestles and plays with the dogs and he loves to have them chase him as well as do the chasing. He is very "silly." He frequently shadow boxes shadows that aren't there. He likes to push his head along the ground with his butt up in the air. He likes to chase fuzzy mice all over the house and his all time favorite game involves running as fast as he can accross the living room until he hits the rug at the entry way and slides across the floors until he hits the wall. He also likes to lay on his side while mom spins him around on the hardwoods until he's dizzy. In fact, when she stops, he "asks" for more. When he's done playing he likes to either curl up on one of his two...yes two...kitty condos for a nap or snuggle up next to the dogs or his mom. He's very verbal and talks to us all the time. If we don't pay enough attention to him he will tap our shoulder and "chirp" at us until we give him some luvin'. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, albeit somewhat weight challanged, he is by far the funnest and funniest cat we've ever had and we adore him!
