Likes: Sitting on bellies, running around wildly, pretending to be a bird, Speaking up his mind, My hubby
Pet-Peeves: Anything that happens without him being notified of it!
Favorite Toy: Lui (another cat)
Favorite Nap Spot: Couches, chairs and other places reserved for royalty
Favorite Food: He doesn't seem to be particularly passionate about food as the other cats. Because of his smaller frame, he lets the others go first, and waits until they're done, then he dives into it, be it catnip or tuna...
Skills: He is the Great Orator and speaks his mind about all sorts of issues freely. He is the cat of Justice and speaks up for the rights of the cats. Leonidas has an earnest, honest gaze that is sure to penetrate through any feline or human motivation.
Arrival Story: My hubby was neighbors with someone who owned a three-legged cat (Who, I'm happy to announce, passed away of old age recently) who gave birth to a litter of kittens. These neighbors clearly didn't care for the kittens and were irresponsible with them. One of the kittens would always be out in the hallway. My husband felt sorry for him and decided to take better care of him. The rest is happy history :)
Bio: If cats had A or B-type personalities, this cat's would be A! As you can see, his traits are maxed out to the right side, except Friendliness. In fact, he is easy-going and able to relate to anyone but there is a certain degree of reserve in him, which I think comes from his undying loyalty to my hubby. My hubby named him Leonidas for the Greek warrior-king. How befitting! I like to think Leo was born under the sign of Gemini, on June the 8th, because number eight stands for Strength.
Yesterday was an unsettling day.
I climbed into the cat carrier because it looked fun and I was bored.
Little did I know, I'd be carried outside and I hate being outside. It makes me feel insecure.
My non-furry parents are worried about my bald patches and took me to the vet lady, who was very nice and gentle.
Looks like there is no problem, except maybe stress.
Of course I'm stressed. Seven months is a long time in feline time to be without my best friend. I waited and waited, but now I don't think he's coming back.
I feel so lonely...
Louie was my closest buddy ever since I was a kitten... And now he's gone.
Nobody is here to groom me and follow me around.
My non-furry mother tries her best, but it's not enough...
