I've been off insulin for a while, so no more needles. But now the vet thinks my kidneys aren't doing so well. I'm drinking more water (Mom bought me a cool new water dish - actually it's a fountain). Mom's giving me pills. Yuck! And she tried to get me to eat that nasty wet food, but I refused. She did change my regular food. It's alright, but not real tasty. Mom says I have to go back to the vet in a couple weeks to see how my kidneys are doing on the new diet. It sucks getting old.
