Arrival Story:
I was originally found under a car on Haskell Avenue, by a friend of my mom's. The friend already has six cats. She just couldn't keep an extra kitty. So she sent around pictures. My mom got me because I was just SO CUTE and affectionate and fun, and she has been just thrilled to have me around and livening things up!

Bio:
I like to play with feather-on-a-stick, Cat Dancer, Sock Ball, Squeaky Mouse, and many other things that were not meant to be played with originally. Basically, the world is one big toy. Yeah!

Warning! This entry's kinda gross. :)

So. On Saturday morning I was not feeling particularly well. I was throwing up, and throwing up, and throwing up, six times! Even though nothing was coming up. Now, mom's used to cat puke, because there are three of us in the household, and this was definitely not your garden-variety cat puking. So she called the vet, and the vet said to bring me in. Bummer.

At the vet, they took x-rays and felt my tummy and said that I might have eaten something soft, that was not meant to be eaten, that was blocking me, although they didn't see anything on the x-ray. And that I might very well need an operation! But, they couldn't do it at my regular clinic so they got everything ready and mommy took me to their sister clinic across town. The vet there had a look and said that I would definitely need surgery. Unless mom wanted to double-check and have them give me a dye test so they could x-ray my tummy and see the blockage. Of course mom said yes, because she didn't want them to cut me open unless they had to!

So, they did the dye test, and GOOD NEWS! I wasn't blocked. Just not digesting very well. So I stayed at the clinic on an IV overnight. In the morning I ate a little food, and -- here's the gross part! -- I had a really, really big diarrhea! I made a BIG MESS! But, I started feeling better.

I felt a lot better when they took that IV out and mom took me home and gave me a little food and I kept it down. I slept allll the rest of the day. Mom said she was really mad at me for eating whatever it was that I ate, but she was really happy that I didn't have to have an operation! Anyway, I don't know what it was but I'm sure not going to eat it again!

And now I feel MUCH BETTER and am almost back to being my old playful and affectionate self!
