I have to go to the vet this week. I'm kind of scared. Mummy is sad. I have been losing weight and I started to chew my own fur off.

Harrumph!

There is an interloper in our midst. He sat on my chair. And napped on our bed. And continues to ignore my mighty yowls of dominance. Harrumph!

Stinky Butt x 2

So now I am pooping twice a day! Ahhh... it's nice being regular. Mum should appreciate that. However while she finds it amusing that I wait to pee until she is using the bathroom, she seems to find my preferred times to poop less amusing. The other night I needed to go when she had just gotten in the bubble bath and almost every morning I poop while she's in the shower. It's just my response to all that water. And then she calls me stinkbutt. plbbbt.

Meowmy is listening to Meatloaf.

How can you listen to dinner? She's crazy. Anyway she hasn't turned the oven on for weeks now. Where is it? I don't smell anything except salad.

Yeah, I showed that stupid dog. We don't really like to talk about it much but meowmy's sister got a stupid dog. And he lives right next door! Ugh. So he barks. And sometimes meowmy's sister brings him to our house. The nerve! Meowmy gets mad because Scratch is an Olde Furt and she doesn't think this is good for her stress level to be barked at. So when the sister came over with the dog last night meowmy grabbed up Scratch and put her in the bedroom and then I attacked that stupid furball! I don't care that he's 10 times my size! How DARE he scare my sisfur. This is OUR house! Meowmy had to pick me up and bring me into the bedroom with Scratch I was so fightin mad! HA! I kicked his butt.

So mom is putting a lot of things in a bag. like her toothbrush and the hair dryer (good riddance). Scratch says the place will be ours, but isn't it already? I hope I don't get separation anxiety. It's only for a week. Sigh.

1 - I am a drooler. When mommy pets me I drool and drool and drool. i have permanantly water-marked some of her favorite books this way.

2- Speaking of books, another way I like to mark mommy's books is by chewing on the corners!

3- I like to vist Grandpa. He lives just down stairs so if mommy leaves her door open and he leaves his door open, I can just run down the front hall and into see him. He calls me "cat" in greek. I don't know how to spell it.

4- I like olives. and pickle juice. And I like to lick the water off the shower wall when mommy is finished.

5- If there is someone in the room that needs to be petting me, I can use my huge paws to bring their hand down on my head. Sometimes they just don't know until you show them.

6- I am devising a plan to ruin mommy's eggplant plants. The leaves are so tastey, I just can't stop myself from chewing on them.

7- I can flatten myself to fit under the bed when I am scared. Fireworks and thunderstorms make me do this and mommy has no idea how I manage it.

Purrs and prayers

No poetry today. Please hug your furbabies and keep them safe. Mommy loves us and even though we like to sit in the window and she knows we want to go outside sometimes, she wants us to be safe. Sometimes she says she thinks it's selfish of her to keep us indoors, but she likes to know that we are safe from harm.

Last night mommy came home crying because on her way home she saw a kitty in the road who had been hit but was still alive. Mommy pulled over and called the police. She cried alot. There were very few cars on the road so mommy doesn't know how long the poor kitty had been there alone and hurt. We don't know what happened to the kitty after the police came, but mommy thinks it was really bad and the poor kitty has probably had to have been sent to the rainbow bridge. Even though mommy did not know this kitty, she hopes that someday she will see him (or her) again waiting for her and playing with butterflies and eating all the catnip he or she can handle.

Please hug your babies while me and Scratch cuddle with mommy and help heal the crack in her heart for a kitty we never knew.
