I saved Red from the veterinary clinic I trained and now work in about 6 years ago now, he arrived as a hit by car with fractured femur, his owner was unable to pay fo the cost of the surgery to fix him, I offered to pay the bill if I could have the cat & his owner was delighted as it meant we saved his life, (only other options was euthanasia) We have been together 6 years now, I love him so much. We have had all sorts of other health issues (blocked bladder) which meant Red had another very big surgery about 2 years after we amputated his hind leg. He is very lucky to be alive but he thanks us everyday for saving him.
