Arrival Story:
This cat was fostered in a home with 17 other cats. One had FIV. When we went to see the cats, he hid under the bed & we got nervous adopting a cat from this woman because she had so many that they were fighting a lot & we were afraid that the FIV would spread. Two weeks later, I went to adoption day at Petco expecting to see kittens so Mango could have a playmate. I saw this cat, recognized his name & asked if I could hold him. Well, he cuddled up in my lap, clung to my shirt like velcro & slept for an hour! I just fell in love. I decided to give him a shot not even thinking that he could be sick from the foster lady's house. He's only been home for a week & the vet's visit is scheduled tonight 3-1-07. I just pray his results come out fine, so he can stay with us! 3-2-07 I am FIV NEGATIVE! Whoohooo...and I am officially adopted now!
