Arrival Story:
I wanted a kitten so I went to a petstore in Orange City. There were two kittens both black and white. One of them were in back of the cage just sleeping away and the other one was hanging off the side of the cage meowing like crazy. So I took the one hanging off the side of the cage because I figured he wanted to get out of there more than the other one!!!!!

Bio:
Oreo was my first cat living on my own. He was always there for me in the good times and the bad. He eventually started loosing weight and was having difficulty walking and was declining. I took him to my vet and he had a bad kidney infection and had become anorexic. He also become diabetic. If you have a cat that starts having difficulty using his hind legs, this is a sign of diabetes and not of just being an overweight cat. He was there for two weeks and I would go everyday to spend time with him while he was in the incubator. We tried everything including a blood transfusion. I knew it was getting close to having to make the decision to put him to sleep so one afternoon I told Oreo that if he wanted to get better and come home with me that was fine, but that if he was tired and didn't want to come back home with me, that this was ok too. He gave me one last kiss on the nose that day. Oreo died at the vet's that night.
