Arrival Story:
Little Juliette was a rescue found on a farm in the middle of winter with a crushed leg. Unlike her brother Romeo, Juliette's leg had to be amputated. BUT, she makes up for it big time, and speeds around and embarrasses everyone else with her speed and agility. She's very precocious, and made her home here within 2 hours of arriving. She curled up next to my pillow and purred. Aww! She has a loving Mummy and Daddy, who think the world of this special little treasure. And, as you can tell from the pics, she gets along with everyone, and within a day, Douglas and Charlie were curled up with her, grooming her, and making her a part of our loving family here. She's such a little gem. I'd love to hear from other amputee owners in terms of keeping her happy and healthy... I worry about her remaining hind leg and how it will affect her later on. Right now, she's so quick and happy. I want her to stay that way :) She's just the most incredibly adaptable little girl! When she's lonely or out of sight, she cries, and when I call her, she comes hopping along and is so happy for a little cuddle before zooming away again. She and Romeo play together (both young and too cute for words), and she was just... meant to be here! Lucky me :)
