Arrival Story:
Despite my recent popularity, my beginnings were humble indeed. My first known appearance took place at 3 months old, in the 34th Police Precinct in New York City. I walked in, half bald, head held high, like I owned the place. I was such a hit that they immediately demanded a repeat performance at the Manhattan city shelter, where I was diagnosed with alopecia and possible neurological issues and shown to my dressing room in the sick ward. Apparently, the shelter staff planned to cut my engagement there prematurely short. Luckily, I was given rave reviews such as â€œsweeter than ice creamâ€ and was quickly discovered by my new agent and loving Mama. Because of my unique appearance, I quickly became known as Little Ugly amongst her friends and family, and later LuLu. With lots of Mama love, I have blossomed into the beautiful star everyone knows today! I am still extremely unusual looking, with my curly coat of multi-colored, wiry fur, pointed face & ears, and whirling antics. Whatâ€™s most important though, is that Iâ€™m now the happiest, most loving little spirit in the world!!
