Leave a treat for Andy (In Loving Memory)

Quick Bio:
 Coloration: Cream Tabby

Arrival Story: I came from a Persian/Exotic Shorthair/Himalayan breeder's home and Meowmy bought me as a companion for her other cat Timmy.

Bio: I was born to a Persian/Exotic Shorthair/Himalayan breeder at her assistant's house. It was just my Mamacat, my sibling sister and me. I was happy there. Then I was brought to the breeders house and I hated it. I didn's know her. I didn't like her. Too many cats. Too many smells. Yuck! And she knew I didn't like her! My Meowmy contacted the breeder to get another cat and she wanted a Cream Tabby Exotic Shorthair and and I was selected (yipppeeee!). When Meowmy came to get me, I was so happy to leave that breeders home!!! Meowmy brought a little cage (because it was warm up there and she wanted me to get enough ventilation in the car), and it had a little clean blanket, a tiny litter box, and a toy. My Grandmaw held the cage on her lap and I sat there real cute. When they stopped at a fast food restaurant to pick up food to eat in the car, I tasted roast beef! And I liked it! Afterwards, I used my little litter box and then leaned, inside the cage, against my Grandmaw and fell asleep. They thought I was perfect! Sweet! Adorable! When I got home, I met my catmate, Timmy, a great big red tabby Exotic Shorthair. He was nice to me, shared his toys, and wanted to play with me. It was nice going to a home where everyone wanted me, loved me, and treated me so well! Meowmy entered me in a few cat shows from 8 months until about a year. I really didn't like it (at all!! All the smells and noises scared me and Meowmy realized I'd rather be at home). I was shown just long enough to get the title CFA Grand Premier and TICA Double Grand Champion and then I retired from the cat show scene to become a pampered housepet. I lived a long life and went to Rainbow Bridge at the age of 17 years. ********************************** **************

Meowmy ran into some old photos of me. She was awestruck at how beautiful I was...so young and big and strong. A really husky kitty with a stunning face and beautiful thick plush fur! MOL! I was the kind of Exotic Shorthair who had hair that did mat and I had to be combed, but my fur was really beautiful!
I think Meowmy needs to do some scanning and get those photos on my Catster page! Meowmy...add this to your "to do" list!

Meowmy made me a new blingee photo for St. Patrick's Day! I like it! St. Paddy's Day was always a celebration in our home and I'm continuing that tradition at the Bridge!

Here is a poem from a book called “Cat Angels” that I thought you'd enjoy! It does make you thing.....
THE CHOICE
He meets the cats at heavens door
And bids them enter, rich or poor.
He welcomes them with arms spread wide
Then bends close to them, once inside.
And says to them, "It's heavens law:
You do not hiss, show teeth, or claw.
For mice and bird, 'tis heaven too.
You don't give chase, you don't say 'boo!'
Most cats regard Him long and well
And say, "I'd rather go-"
Ah, well!
MOL! Enjoy your day,
Andy
