1. My eyes are two different colors! My hearing is fine in both ears.
2. I can "High Five" for a treat.
3. Mommy says I walk like a baby hippo.
4. I'm very intense. The word "no" means nothing to me!
5. I love to keep our D.O.G. in suspense, he never know when I am going to terrorize him. I love messing with his pea-brain!
6. I was a feral cat. Daddy tamed me and I am glad he did.
7. I sleep next to Daddy's head every night - right side please!

Happy Birthday Rudy!

My big orange brother Rudy will be eight years old tomorrow! He has taught me a lot about life. Here is a list of things I now know because of Rudy.
>Sitting on Mommy's face when she is sleeping will get you a lot of attention.
>Never accept the blame for plant leaves on the floor.
>Fake furry mice are 'da bomb!
>The best places to take a nap are exactly where our folks have to walk.

Where Did I Go?

Oh, here I am. Lemme' tall you a little about the goings on here at Casa de' Parker.
Mommy went away for a job out of town on Easter Sunday - Bummer.
Daddy became primary care-giver to me and my siblings - kinda bummer.
Daddy got good at it! Not a Bummer.
Mommy felt good about that, but kinda jealous. 1/2 bummer 1/2 good.
Mommy is coming home tomorrow for 4 days. NOT A BUMMER!
WOO-HOO!
There are kitty smooches and hugs in my immediate future - Huge Not Bummer!

I Wonder About Things Sometimes

I was thinking about all of the tragedy with the pet food recalls. All of the pain and suffering the animals who ate the food had to go through, the grief that their families are going through now and all of the unanswered questions about how a thing like this could happen. Then I think about who the people were that let this happen. I wonder if those people have animals that they love and cherish, and then I wonder how they would feel if that same thing happened to them. Not that I would ever wish that on another animal! But I just wonder sometime about how thoughtless and cold humans can be.

Do I Smell Springtime?

Hi Everykitty!
It's been so cold and rainy and awful here that I was starting to think that the warm weather and gentle breezes would never come back. Today, I think my nose smelled something different...spring! I called my brother and sisters over near the window and they smelled the same thing!
So...I think that before long, we'll be smelling fresh cut grass, flowers, and bar-b-ques. And we'll be seeing bright sunshine, people out walking and blooming flowers. AND we'll be napping in sunny spots and hearing the birds chirp.
Then... I woke up from my nap and realized that it was snowing outside - IN APRIL!
UGH! I'm going back to sleep till June!

Hello Bacon and Eggs! I love You!

I had the joy of discovering bacon and eggs tonight! Do you kitties know how good that stuff is? Daddy decided that it was "breakfast for dinner" night and he made bacon and eggs. I got to try some too! Oh. My. Goodness! Eggs have yellow in it that just makes your tail quiver - and bacon? OOHHH! Yummy! I must tell you kitties - if you haven't had bacon and eggs yet, tell your humans to give you some - now! Here's what you will say -
AAAAAIIIIEEEE!

Always make sure Mommy and Daddy have extra kitty litter scoopers in the house. 'Cause if the last one breaks when they're using it, words that are on my bad words list will be used when they are walking out the door to buy a new one(s)! That is all.

There's Some Birthday's In 'Da House!

Our home is rockin' with excitement over my sister Puff and Powder's birthdays this coming Sunday. They were born in a barn on April Fool's Day! I LOVE teasing them about that! Love it. A lot. Really. Ha! Hewww....anyway the best part about the celeration is the food and refreshments! We are going to be served by Mommy and Daddy - well the truth is, they serve us everyday, but it's what they are serving that is so very special! SALMON! TUNA JUICE! SOME ICE CREAM! And to top it all off - CATNIP! I ask you everykitty - does it get any better than that? I think not. I also know that there will be presents involved, perhaps some fake furry mice and a new kitty wand! I dunno how many sleeps it is 'till Sunday, but I know we are all pretty excited about this! If you want, you can drop by their Catster pages and wish them a Happy Birthday. They will both be nine years old!
