Los Cinco Grandes!!

Also known as... The Big Five!! Which, I happen to be celebrating today! With age comes wisdom and respect. Now, I've held up my end of the deal by attempting to impart my wisdom on the least cultured animal I could think of. The Dog. I tried to explain that they're are better ways of learning about someone or something then by sniffing it's tush, chasing her tail was pointless because it was less than 2 inches long, and that drinking out of toilets was sooo cliche! But did she listen, does anyone listen? No! Is it too much to ask for a little respect and dignity?

It's her fault!

Hello Dear Catster Readers!
Its been almost a year since I've been on here. My owner claims its because she always has other things to do. It's just my luck that in the prime of my internet domination, she decides to log off of the computer and get a life. But it's summer now, and everyone has more free time so I should be able to pester her into logging on every now and then. My, how caster has changed! I'm still not sure if I like it or not , but it will definately take some getting used to. Anyway, I hope you all have a great summer. I see a very sunny spot by the window and it is calling to me.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I am celebrating my fourth birthday! I have a wonderful life and am very happy here even with Maggie. I sometimes wonder what I did to be so lucky because before I was adopted I was a shelter cat. I hope that all the other cats and dogs in shelters are as lucky as I am.

Reunited!

I have been reunited with my beloved Cow! For those of you who are wondering, cow is a finger puppet that I love to carry around in my mouth and meow to, and some times even put in my bed. Cow went missing for a long time and we replaced him with Chicken. A couple days ago when Meowmy was moving some cabinets she found him. Now we are reunited and it feels so good!

Maggie the Menace

Oh dear, I have been really bad about updating my diary. I hope I don't get on the naughty list! Speaking of naughty, Maggie is going to be up to her eyeballs in coal this year. Between shredding tissue boxes and everything else that is either paper or cardboard, she finds time to chase and harrass me. I've tried to tell her many, many times that I am not playing chase, but she just does not get it. She has no idea how many times I have to lick down my fur every day because she tries to maul me or how hard it is to jump over the doorway gate, sprinting for my life. She just has no idea, but she will! She will know when she has a stocking full of chunks of coal, yet even then she would probably just try to eat them. Anyway, merry Christmas to all! And to all the cats with dogs in the house, I feel your pain! And to all the cats without dogs, count your blessings.

Busy Busy Busy!!!

I'm sorry we haven't been updating our diaries very often.
We've been very busy lately. Nothing much has changed although Maggie has gotten a lot bigger (I can still beat her up though!) Anyway I will try to write more as soon as anything comes up.

Does Anyone Have an Ark We Can Borrow?

And purrhaps maybe some doggy shampoo to go with it.
It has been raining nonstop fur three days straight now! Our backyard has turned into a swamp and Maggie has learned how to escape from her pen. Maggie plus mud is not good! It's not like she tries to roll in it (at least I don't think she does) but the mud always seems to find her and stick to her furry white tummy. The fire department had to come out to sandbag our neighbors house to keep it from flooding a few days ago. I think the rain is finally about to stop(or at least slow down) now. I am glad because Maggie often has to come inside when it is raining. Not only can she escape her outdoor pen, but also the one in the shop. I'm sure everyone else will be glad the rain stops also. I am very glad that Hurricane Gustav wasn't as bad as Katrina.

Wallpaper Wonders

Maggie and I are teaming up to be... The Wallpaper Wonders! Tearing off any excess wallpaper which we think should be removed (or eaten.)
A few days ago I was shut in my room with the light turned off which drives me MAD. In a desperate attempt to turn it back on I rippes some pieces of wallpaper off which made Mom really mad. That night Maggie was in her bed by the wall when Mom heard the unmistakable sound of ripping paper. She rushed over to see Maggie trying to swallow a chunk of wallpaper. Luckily the wallpaper that we both tore was glued back and no one will ever notice.... and if they do... well, lets just say Mom will have to tell the story of the Wallpaper Wonders then confront us later.
Off to rid my room of unnecessary wallpaper,

My Birthday!!!

Sissy was thinking last night when she suddenly remembered something. She turned to me and said, " Omigosh, tomorrow's your birthday,Max!" Well, who knew. Tomorrow on the 30th I will be happily celebrating my 3rd birthday. I won't be having a big celebration though because I'm really not into that kinda stuff. My family will be gone part of the day so I can relax and when they come home I can play with them and maybe a few new toys!

Let the Fluffy Fur Fly!

Anyway, Maggie has been getting awfully brave lately not to mention big. She goes right up in Kandy's and my face ,yet backs away as soon as we flinch. This morning I rose my paw to strike her and she did not back away fast enough. My paw struck her furry little tush where all the fluffy baby fur is. As she ran off, Mommy noticed a little piece of tan fluff floating in the air and laughed. Apparently she was not quick enough for my cat-like reflexes.
Next time she better look for bald spots!
