Arrival Story:
Years ago I used to work part time in a local petstore on the weekends. They had an apoption service there. Scaramouche was one of four kittens that somebody brought in. I took one look at her and fell in love!! She was so little and pretty w/ this little tiny face w/ big eyes and big ears. Her coat looked like marble. She was the most beautiful thing I had seen.

Bio:
I loved this cat to pieces!! She was my little girl. At 16 yrs old her life came to a tragic end while on vacation this past summer. She was given insuline injections that were meant for Amante who had diabetes. On my return flight home my "Friend" had called to say Amante was having seizures and was rushed to the emergency clinic. I was very upset and cried the whole way home. When I returned the next morning I had come to find that it wasn't Amante' but Scaramouche that had been taken to the hospital. Amante' was just hanging out and nothing seemed to make sense. My apt looked like a bomb went off and I did a head count. Scaramouche was missing and frantically called the Dr to tell him about it being the wrong cat. Then I just collapsed on the floor. Not my little girl!! I can't even begin to tell you what I was feeling that morning. The rage and grief. How could my friend mess that up?? I couldn't even believe it. I had spoke to him so many times while I was away to make sure everything was ok. I had no idea. I visited her once I was able to get myself together. She looked so pathetic.I couldn't believe he did this to her!! We decided to give it 24hrs to see if there were any changes. But I knew she wasn't coming back. I spent alot of time w/ her that day, hoping that something would get thru to her. But sadly I had her put to sleep the next day.
