I met one last night while sitting on the front porch with my mom. He and I came nose to nose. I like the way he flashed at me. I stood real still so I wouldn't scare him away. He bobbed up and down flew a little ways away. I thought he was going to fly away but he came back again, flashed at me then flew away. Mom wished she'd had her camera. Maybe next time!

We all love fire flies. In our area the country folk also call them lightening bugs. In the evening when they all come out of the ground it looks like Christmas lights. Blinking, blinking and more blinking. Hope your momcat has the camera next time. Enjoy! Have a beautiful day.
