I can't wait for the pet tracking devices to get better. Here's a new one that was posting on the missing cat assistance group.

It has a little pouch for the tracking device to sit in so it doesn't hang off the collar. LOL or they would dip it in their water bowl. It is very light weight You can see it on one of D's photos

I did wonder where D was the other day so I used the loc8tor. It didn't
find him right away, the tracker must have been tucked under his fur while he
was asleep. I walked around outside until I started to give me a reading I was calling him too. He must have gotten up because I then started to get a direction to head. I tracked him to a room inside the house. It kind of worked, and through walls (once he was standing).

It's nice to know I do have another tool to track him with. He has
a collar with a name tag
Micro chip
and now the tracking device, lol if the collar stays on him.

When the GPS ones get better and the battery lasts longer we will probably get one of those.
I like the fact it'll (the GPS ones) will let us know if he goes somewhere we don't want him to go. But that will have to be in the future.

I hope this info helps other furs as it's not nice to lose a furry friend. Purrs for the ones that are missing I hope you are found soon.

Thanks guys, the tracking collars are a cheap insurance when you consider how much you spend when they go missing. All the photocopying adds up, not to mention the biscuits / chocolates we took around to those that were going above and beyond for us. I'd hate to think how much we spent the first time MOL.
With the hiring of the traps etc, luckily the humans were due for holidays then, That's one way to stop them leaving town

you definitly need one of those MR. D Mom would like a kitty cam to put on Spotty to see where he goes. the only thing with him is she would see all the little creatures he hunts and tortures.

Yee Haw! I just now hears YOU ARE BAAAACK HOME! And got your very own GPS machine. WOWee neato and no more disappearing acts. I'm so relieved to have heard my Orangie pal is back!
