Ez bitta sveet...Isaac happy to greet deze precious angels und see dem whole und happy again, but ez so sad dat dey have to leave dey staff und leave such painful holes en de hearts of dey staff. Ah but den again, dat mean ve are vell loved kitties, jes? Every kitty should be so fortunate to have such devoted staff.

Isaac been bee-see beink a fashion plate too! Isaac know...ju sooo surprised! Within a jear, Isaac manage to accumulate a ludicrous number of spectacular boas! Vell, de day begin normal enough. De staff go to verk und daddy staff come home from verk. But den de staff come home early, und daddy staff get up early. De staff cryink.
De staff remove Isaac's tidy-vhities und tell Isaac dat he goink somevhere vhere hez cancer vill be healed und Isaac vill need dem no more. De staff den clean Isaac up as best she can und wrap Isaac en a blanket.
Isaac den go for short car ride. Daddy staff drive. De staff hold Isaac und tell Isaac how much she love hem. Isaac so tired dat he cannot make a single peep, but Isaac rest hez head agaist de staff's face to let her know Isaac understand vut she say.
Ve arrive at de place vhere Isaac bean seeink de nice vet lady. She get choked up ven she see Isaac, de staf und daddy staff. She veigh Isaac und Isaac veigh only 6 pounds today.
De nice vet lady den prepare some medicine to make Isaac sleepy. Isaac so tired to begin wit dat et take only seconds for Isaac to nod off. Den de nice vet lady prepare a second medicine und....Isaac feel pain no more. Isaac feel a lee-til woozy at first und den very light. Isaac can den see everyting dat goink on en de nice lady vet's office.
Isaac see hez staff und daddy staff cryink. Den see dem leave de nice vet lady's office wit Isaac's earthly shell wrapped en a blanket. Isaac follow dem to de car und slip en de back seat.
Dey drive to Isaac's grandma's house. Golly, Isaac not bean here in jears! Dis vhere Isaac chase butta-flies und dragon flies! Isaac vatch as daddy staff prepare a place for Isaac's earthly shell next to Isaac's brother Dexter. Vhen dey fee-nish puttink Isaac's shell to rest, Isaac follow dem home.

Tonight, de staff und de daddy staff geeve Isaac special treat -- Isaac permitted outside for de first time en ten jears. Isaac hear dem plan Isaac's outink, und dey reasons too. Ju know, at very early age, Isaac know dat he a skirt kind of a guy. Pencil skirt, a-line skirt, long skirt, mini skirt, frilly or tailored, silk or denim. Isaac like dem all! Isaac neva vanted to ver pants. De staff know dis, und Isaac tink she as comfortable wit dis as Isaac ez...until jesterday.

Jesterday de staff brink home pants for Isaac. Now ef dez pants look like sometink to write home to mama about, like have de Versace medusa or "Cavalli" on de behind, and make Isaac's behind look like a mee-lee-on bucks, den maybe Isaac not mind so much. But deze plain-Jane-vhite , *shudders*disposable and *shudders again* PLASTIC!! Isaac verink tidy-vhities!!!! Oh de shame!

*Sigh* De staff apologize to Isaac, aka Leaky Zeekie. She say dat vile she not mind washink towels und sheets, und even not mind cleanink de carpet, ez impossible to clean de mattress on de bed. Dere also a new "furriend" on de back patio tonight. Oy!! Ju vould tink dere de McDonald's golden arches on Isaac's back patio de vay deze vagabonds hang around vaitink for a handout! Isaac yell at hem ghut, und give de glass ddoor a ghut slappink, even dough de staff say dis not polite. Dis kitty look pretty vell cared for, so perhaps he not homeless--but de staff go und feed him anyvay! Isaac's Fancy Feast to boot!! Honestly, ef she feed hem Isaac's baby food, vell, lets just say de staff betta not leave her shoes unattended!!

Pasha gets a home, und Ru ez a tease!

Jes!! Pasha not at de adoption center a veek before somevone visk her off to her foreva home! How ju like dat?! Vell....afta de girl cleaned up, she very pretty, so ez no vunder. Isaac just purr dat all goes vell en de new home, und her new staff love her foreva und eva.

Tonight Isaac manage to charm an entire jar of baby food out of de staff--fed spoonful by spoonful of course. Isaac still eatink ghut, but Isaac very, very skinny. Isaac notice dat de staff "check" on Isaac lots more now ven Isaac tryink to sleep. Oy! Can't an old man get a lee-till shut-eye wit-out everybody tinkink he kick de bucket?? Cri-min-ee!!

But den, Tina grab hold of de gass und drag de whole container off into a corner all by herself!! Can ju believe dis out of de teeneist kitty en de house? Vell, dats o.k. Isaac understand dat spring make everkitty a lee-till crazy, jes? By later last eveink, Miss Tina vus sharink wit de rest of us. Dat girl too funny!

Vell, Ms. Pasha de patio kitty ez now healthy und have bean moved from de shelter to de adoption center vere she now shoppink for a new foreva home. Ve all purrink en dis house for de purrr-fect family to come along soon to love Pasha foreva.

Isaac continuink to prove de vet-lady wrong. Tomorrow vill make 2 months since Isaac diagnosed wit de bladder cancer und given 1 month to live. Isaac receive verd today dat hez ghut friend Simon ez gravely ill. Hez vet say he not be wit us much longer....perhaps a veek. Dis make Isaac very sad. If ju all have some purr power to spare, Isaac know dat Simon's staff could juse some purrs for her hurtink heart, und both she und Simon need purrs for comfort.

Ef dat not bad enough, Isaac's gorgeous friend Annie go missink dis veek. Et seem she go outside for her 5 minute evenink stroll und disappear into tin air. Her family obviously very sad. Vould ju join Isaac en purrink for Annie's safe return home?

Isaac still hangink en here wit ju all. Aldough Isaac have de staff adequately trained en food service und presentation, she failink miserably en de hairdresser department. She disapprove of Isaac's chest und hip dread-locks, so vut she do?? She not give Isaac a nice even haircut...nooooo. She take out de clippers und zip, zip , zip!! En fact, vone of Isaac's goals before he depart dis planet ez to truly have de staff completely trained. De children deserve dis legacy, jes? Of course! So Isaac do et for de children!

Ju see, ven Isaac not vant to eat kitty food, de staff feed Isaac baby people food (Isaac partial to Nature's Goodness turkey und gravy). So de most recent staff trainink session teach de staff dat ef she vant to serve Isaac people food, den Isaac must eat like people eat. Isaac share dis technique wit ju:

To get ju staff to understand proper dinink, refuse to eat de baby people food or utter people food out of de dish on de floor. Isaac personally express hez displeasure wit dis arrangement by sittink in front of de dish, shiftink hez weight from front foot to front foot und scoldink de staff en a loud voice. Occasionally, ju need to look at de baby people food un den back at ju staff. Do dat several times. Ef ju staff make de mistake of puttink some of de food on dey fingers, und den expect ju to lick et off...refuse, look dem straight en de eye und scold again. Dat how monkeys et for cryink out loud!

Ef ju staff like Isaac's, dey not totally hopeless, und eventually dey vill get et -- ju just need to be patient wit dem. Ven ju see ju staff go for a spoon, soften ju meow, und rub against ju staff's leg to reward dem. Ven dey get de clue und scoop some people food up en de spoon und present et to ju properly, reward ju staff wit de slow eye blink und und a chirp. Den feel free to eat vut ez offered to ju on de spoon. Bonus points ef ju can get dem to sit on de floor wit ju und feed ju de entire meal! Isaac have hez staff to de point vere she spoon feed Isaac an entire jar of baby people food vile sitting on de kitchen floor wit Isaac!

De next step ? A proper civilized table for Isaac wit linens, candles und crystal!!

Emilio very young und come such a long vay since hez mommy rescue hem. But he in trouble right now. Vould ju pay hem a visit und send up a purr for hem? Pasha update

Ms. Pasha have de remove-de-apartment-surgery yesterday. Sadly, ven dey open her tummy, her lee-til apartment vus occupied. So, vut started out as seem-ple apartment removal become un eviction of doze tiny lee-til lives as vell. Alldough Isaac know dis sometimes happen, und dat en de long run ez betta for Pasha, et make Isaac sad nonedeless. Isaac must return to dat mantra...please neuter/spay und keep us foreva.

In addition to tenants en de apartment, Pasha's long cotton-like coat vus horribly matted. So vile she under sedation, she lose her clothes too. Can ju imagine vut dis poor girl tinkink ven she vake up? Holy crow! Her tummy hurt und she look like a moth-eaten fur coat!! Poor kid. Vell, hopefully Pasha pass all her tests, und dis be de vorst of her trip toward health.

She und de staff den talk about Isaac's potty habits ven Isaac not tinklink on de staff, und decide dat ve en as ghut a shape as ve could hope for right now.

Und anutter ting dat happen jesterday....dat anon-y-mouse rosie kitty strike again!! Dis time et a teek-lish anon-y-mouse! Who are ju tee-kil, tee-kil kitty?? Isaac bean vantink to take a closer look at dis situation, but have lacked de staff to accomplish dis task!. Isaac's staff bean at dat verk place VAY too much again! Isaac hate ven dat happen! De kitty dat Isaac's uncle rescue veek-before-last now have a name -- Thackery. De staff ask de uncle ef dis because he have a lisp? De uncle fail to see de humor. Anyvay...de staff take Thackary to de shelter today to get "fixed," get hez shots und hez dangerous kootie testink. Thackery tell de staff durink de drive dat he not broke, und don't need fixed, but she not lee-sin. She drop hem off in de clinic, und den go back to de shelter to vee-sit Pasha und de utter homeless kitties. Pretty soon, somevone from de clinic come back und tell de staff dat Thackery have no testicles! So, either he a double cryptorchid, or he already fixed! See...dat staff need to lee-sin betta...Thackey vus tellink de trut ven he say he not broke!

Isaac bean busy too....busy keepink de staff up at night! Jes! For no ghut reason....just because Isaac can! *Grinchy grin* Dere more dan vone vay to get ju breakfast served early! Isaac like to sing every couple of hours all night, und den about 20 minutes before de staff's alarm go off. Ven de staff turn on de light to see vut Isaac need, Isaac go from vailink-somevone-killink-Isaac- meow to innocent "who me?" meow. Den Isaac jump en de bed und go to sleep....den repeat after staff go back to to sleep. But, de down side of dis game ez dat de staff come home from verk exhausted. So de staff say she can set him up wit everyting he need to be foster daddy for a vile. So uncle scoop de homeless kitty up. He come ova und de staff meet black kitty. She say he very sveet, und totally black but for one white whisker ova one eye. He look clean, und only about 6 mos old. She den inform Isaac dat a shoppink trip to Paris ez just vut Isaac need right now, und dat de carriage ez leavink posthaste! Isaac try to beg off...tellink Miss D dat Isaac bean schleppink around en hez bathrobe und sleep-pers since Vendsday, und look a mess! Predictably, de Queen of Cat-stle Sashay not takink no for an answer. Since she travel wit her hair und makeup staff, she put dem on de task of makink Isaac look hez most fabulous, und off ve go at varp speed en D's carriage!
Ve arrived en Paris und grabbed a quick brunch at a lee-till place overlookink de Seine River. Den off to de 8th arrondissement to vee-sit de houses of Dior, Chanel und Versace. Today, Isaac havink ghut mornink, und thus permit de staff to go to de homeless kitty shelter to verk for a couple hours. Vile she dere, she talk to de shelter's founder about Isaac und hez condition. Dis man very much a fan of homeopathic medicine, und de animals en hez care live long lives, so dis man must be onto someting! He suggest 2 tings for Isaac: 1.) Pulsatilla . Dis to help wit de "gotta go" feelink, und 2.) Shark cartilage. Dis supposed to help slow de growth of tumors. He also give her some Science Diet A/D, vitch Isaac sample und tink ez very tasty!

So, off to de health food store de staff go. She find de pulsatilla dere no problem, but not de shark cartilage. She taught et vould be de utter vay around since she neva hear of pulsatilla! So, ve gonna call around to see vut ve can find here close to home.

De scoop...

Vell, de staff just get off de phone wit de primary care vet. She say dat due to Isaac's pre-exisitink kidney disease, dat Isaac not a candidate for de chemo drugs. Ef Isaac take deze drugs, dere very ghut chance dat dey shut hez kidneys down. Additionally, dere has not bean much success usink deze drugs on kitties wit dis type of cancer....not enough to warrant de risk of makink tings worse.

So....dere are drugs dat might help keep Isaac comfortable for a lee-till beet longer...drugs to help relax bladder spasms. Right now Isaac still pretty sassy...demandink to be fed, beggink treats und drinkink plenty of water. Isaac also sleep tru most of de night on de bed wit de staff. De vet say dis all ghut, and as long as Isaac still doink deze tings, ve o.k for now.

De staff den have to ask....how long? De vet say perhaps a month as deze tumors grow rapidly, und obviously interfere wit one's ability to tinkle. *Sigh* Vell...Isaac have 17 very happy, healthy jears en a house vere de staff love hem und cater to hez every need und whim...lots of kitties never see dat, jes? Und Isaac know hez brothers Dexter und Cajen und hez sister Mia und all hez bridge kitty friends vill be vaiting....vaitink for dis Olde Queen to get de pawty started, jes?

A lee-till more dan a goink problem...

Greetinks friends! Tank ju all for ju love und ju purrs...Isaac truly feel et warmink hez heart und soul!

Isaac vant to post here vut goink on so ju all know vuts up wit de King of Queens.

Truth be told...Isaac bean goink "downhill" for a lee-till vile know....but no true Queen vant to show hez anyting less dan fabulous, jes? :) Et start vit de not vantink to eat ting last fall, a vierd lump on Isaac's side, und some other minor stuff. Den en January, Isaac start wit a "goink problem." Dere vus blood en Isaac's tinkle, but x-rays showed no stones or crystals. So de vet tinkink Isaac have UTI. Two dee-ferent kinds of antibiotics later...Isaac still have goink problem AND de trots from de antibiotics! Good grief how embarassink!

So...de staff take Isaac back for ultrasound today. Isaac ez ghut Queen for de vet, und Isaac not need to get de sleepy drugs...so Isaac hear vut dey say. Dey say dat Isaac have inoperable tumor en hez bladder. De darn ting pretty beeg, und ez situated en bad place...right vere Isaac's kidney empty into hez bladder. Dey also say dat dis more dan likely malig-nant und aggressive tumor...und Isaac know dat no ghut.

Isaac learn dat dis kind of cancer rare en kitties. Dere are chemo drugs to treat dis same kind of cancer en dogs...but kitties not able to process dis drug as far as Isaac's "primary care" vet know. Howeva...she nice lady und she goink to talk wit oncologist tomorrow on Isaac's behalf to see vut ve can do.

So dere ju have et. Isaac und de staff tryink to be brave. Isaac und de staff bean tru lots of stuff together en 17 jears und ve gonna stick together tru dis too, dis time wit all our amazink Catster friends at our side. Tank ju every single vone of ju.

Totally blown avay!!

Isaac's OF friends Frankie und Mac?? Dey someting else Isaac tell ju. Dey cook up BEEEG sue-prize for Isaac last Friday...a sue-prize 17th birthday pawty!! Isaac vus TOTALLY clueless!! He go to OF home Friday mornink und notice dat dere a rainbow of boas hangink on de door. Den he go in und notice dat dere lots of peek-tures in de lobby of all hez friends, und Isaac too, wit boas, HL fashions und even de ole Cookman wit a mardi gras mask on! (Isaac hear later dat Sissy de vone dat plan, organize und photo-shop de photos...Sissy, ju amazink!)

But nobody..not a soul ez around. Dis all very strange Isaac tink. But den, Isaac valk by de social hall to see et been decorated en heavenly fashion! Und part of de decorations, vhy....oh my, Isaac's false eylashes almost popped right off!! Dere ez a banner dat say Happy 17th Isaac!! Und here ez vere every body hidink, vaitink for lil ole me!!

Gooodness me, Isaac tell ju right now he nearly de-stroy an hours vorth of make-up application right dere on de spot! My lee-till heart vus a flutter at de sight of dis amazing gesture of love!

Und dat not all, no, not by a long shot! Let Isaac tell ju about de food und drink! OMC!! Our OF banquet table over-floweth!! Mac und Frankie bring mouseburgers, salmon salsa and other treats, Alex bring nip pawty favors, Scootie bring every flavor of baby food under de sun, und send Isaac hez own stash of salmon treats too, Princess Pen (Isaac SO happy she make de pawty) bring all kinds of scrumptious treats from de land down unda, Maxvell bring fine french pastries und *drools a bit* graham crackers, Queenie make an amazink cake, Tooney bring hez special fried guppies, Edie bring marmite sandwiches und peanut butta, Tooney bring catnip spiked sparklink spring vater, Thomas de bartender bring hez whole bar on vheels, Me-stir Bom-bas-TEEK bring special Isaac Margarita mix, und Elsa bring crates of Moet!!! Can ju believe et? A feast feet for a King....or Queen!! MOL!!

Oh und dere vus dansink--Cha-cha und conga und a Cat-e-okie machine too! Taz und hez family snap dey thongs in Isaac's honor (ju guys too funny). Wally, Mr. Skins Jimmy Joe und Sophie even fly in from de bridge to join de fun!

Und evervone dressed to de nines!! Jes! Boas und bling everyvere! Even Isaac's macho pals like Calvin, Arn un Dude Kitty don de boa or de HL Bling!

Oh!! Speakink of dressed to de nines, Mac und Frankie give Isaac pink Spa Meow warm up suit wit Isaac's name on et!! *Squeal!!* Tanks guys! Isaac love et!!

So as ju can see, et vus an amazink pawty! Isaac so tankful to have friends dat love hem so, und Isaac love everyvone of dem to pieces! Isaac tank each vone of ju for de amazink time und de memory created.

Lookink back at 2007

Vell fur-ends, here ve are at de end of anutter jear. Isaac's staff de-scover Catster at de beginink of de jear. Dis right about de time ve lose Cajen very suddenly--he vus supposed to live anutter 30 jears. De staff vuz devestated. All-dough she never tink such a ting could be so, Catster actually help her to heal. First, she make a memorial page to both Dexter und Cajen, und she heal a lee-til. Den, dere a beautiful bridge kitty named Taffy dat give Cajen und Dexter both vings out of de blue. De staff vus floored by dis amazink, kind gesture from a stranger...und et help her heal a lee-til more.

Den, along come Cybil, vone of Isaac's first Catster fur-ends. Cybil invite Isaac to join de Olde Furts. Dere, Isaac meet so many 1st class kitties wit 1st class staff...staff wit huge hearts for all creatures. Isaac make many fur-ends dere--Scootie, Baby, Princess Penny, Wally, Thomas, Elsa, Tyler a.k.a Me-stir BombasTEEK, Max, Yessie, Annie, Sissy, Tooney, Rascal, Queenie, Alidah, Taz, Frankie, Alex, Stanley, Edie, Ashley , Truman, Baltster, Dude Kitty, Moozer, Simon, Arnold, whew! De list goes on, und Isaac love dem all!

Isaac also sadly see some fur-ends go to de bridge dis jear. Even dough Isaac know dey happy und vonce again healthy, Isaac's heart ache for dey families who miss dem. Kee-sees to ju all.

Isaac's health slip just a lee-til dis jear. Isaac have to take de hungry pill now. Ve have to adjust de dosage so Isaac not sing all night long in addition to eat all night long, but ve doink o.k. wit it now. Isaac even gain a lee-til veight!

De highlight of dis olde black man's jear vus of course, Talk like Isaac veekend! Isaac's furends not stop at talkink like Isaac dough, dey dress like Isaac too! Everyvone looked mahhhvelous, und ve had some fun let me tell ju!

Isaac lookink forward to New Jear, und hopink dat de new jear bring new cat-stle for Isaac. De staff still have dis cat-stle for sale--Isaac vant a cat-stle wit hez own dressink room!! MOL!

Et ez staff members like dis, who demonstrate completely unselfish love to dey four legged companions dat geeve Isaac hope dat de vorld ez not going to very warm place in peek-nick basket as fast as he tink et is. :)

Den dere bean OF's who sick, like Simon, Ashley, Cybil, Lucky Boo, Toby und Sophie.

So, ju can see vhy, perhaps, a lee-till beet of frivolity just vut de Dr. ordered, jes? So, dis veekend, de OF's decide everyvone goink to talk like Isaac! Jes! Und dress like Isaac too!!

Oh Goodness!

Oh my...Isaac ez soooo nervous! Isaac has been asked to be best man for buddy Martin, ven he marry de lovely Snowy on de 30th of dis month!! Such an honor Isaac never have before! Isaac vant to do everting dat Martin need him to do so everyting perfect for him und Snowy. Isaac scared too...scared dat Isaac be.....vell.....too "girly." *sigh* But Isaac vill try hard not to be too fru-fru. Isaac even learnik tings!! Just like Robin Williams und Nathan Lane in de Birdcage Pedro teaching Isaac to walk like John Wayne instead of Marilyn Monroe, how to shake paws like a manly cat und how to meow like manly cat! Pedro very patient wit Isaac too, he doing good job! My leetil brother so helpful! Can dis Olde Queen be taught new treecks?? Vee see!

Isaac so very, very excited for Martin und Snowy und hope everyting beautiful for dem at vedding und ever after!!

Olde Furts got STYLE!!

Oh such a nice week Isaac have....in spite of fact dat staff member shave my bum. Ahem. Anyvay, Isaac find dat other Olde Furt guys like dress up too! Such fun dey all are, Taz, Max n' Arnold n' others too. Can't vait to see more from dese guys!

Since staff member shave Isaac's bum, I have been punising her. Isaac usually only get extras in his food if staff member tink I too boney. Dis week, Isaac refuse to eat a single bite until staff member put olive oil on Isaac's food. Is so easy...I just look at de food, look back up at staff member and let out one big long 30 second meow!!! If still no olive oil (or butter, Isaac not care which) I do it again!! Usually only take one time. Isaac have his staff trained well. Dis week I also make her to get Isaac's extensive collection of boas out de closet. Since I am now runnink around half nekkid, I vant to feel more "dressed." Ahhhh....dats much betta.

Here ve go again!

*Sigh* I fear ze staff member ez headed for ze loony bin, und on her vay dere, she ez goink to make Isaac look like old fur coat.

A few weeks ago she insist on shaving Isaac's belly und chest sayink dat Isaac ez not taking care of de hair dere. Fine, dis I can live wit as it save me a few schekles in waxing costs. Vat-ever. But last night? Last night staff member go off deep end and shave Isaac's back legs all de way up to hip! AGAIN she say Isaac is not taking care of dis hair! She say Zoom Groom not work on dat spot and she want to use comb. Isaac vill have none of dis!! How do she know dat Isaac was not workink on Rastafarian look wit dreads on back end, huh?? She not even ASK, just buzz, buzz buzz!!!!

Oh the shaaaaammmmeee!!!! *blows nose loudly in pink lacy hankie and peeks at back end in mirror*

Oh!! But vill ju look at dat? Oooo...Isaac look so leegggy like dis! Oh dere are possibities here....back seamed stockings...

Isaac LOVES visitors!

One of my favorite tings happen today! Grandma came to visit!! Isaac love grandma because grandma not ban Isaac from de bathroom. Also I tink she come just to worship Queen Isaac...she Zoom Groom Isaac und tell Isaac what beautiful whiskers he have! Oh! Isaac simply swoon! Un den, when grandma use de bathroom, Isaac run in wit her und when she sit on potty...Isaac do love bites on grandma's butt wit my teensey front teeths!! I know grandma likes dis because she always holler for staff member when I do dis and say what an interesting cat Issac is!! Isn't she just de sweetest?? Isaac can't wait till grandma come again!

Also...Isaac have visitor to his page dat leave rosie but no leave name...just leave video of 2 kitties playing ping-pong?? Dis ez very strange, yes? Whoever rosie leaver is, tank ju very much for visit! XXOO!
