Greetings all!
My litter mate Pedro and I are excited about our upcoming birthdays. We are going to be terrible-tabby-two! And even more exciting, our birthdays fall on Friday this year...the purrfect paw-ty day! We are hoping for extra long Zoom-Groom sessions, Pawbreakers and regular catnip, furry-rattle-mice, and our favorite treat, yogert! I have to confess that we are all pretty well spoiled around here, so I am thinking that Pedro and I will get all of the forgoing and more! Can't wait!
On a more somber note, mom went to the park yesterday and there was only one feral cat left. Originally, there were approximately 15. So over the course of one short week, the city managed to heartlessly exterminate an entire feral colony that was harming no one. *sigh* We will never understand.
I have a new job! I appointed myself official tucker-inner! This means that I tuck mommy in every night. I love to do it! I wait until I know it is time for bed. Then, I run up the steps in front of mom and wait for her to get in bed. Then I jump up there with her, give her 10 or 20 licks on the lips, and then off I go to patrol the house for the rest of the night. I have been the tucker-inner for about a month and a half now. I haven't missed a night and I really enjoy my work!
