Greystone, a Tennessee kitty furriend, has tagged me and asked me to tell what makes me happy in the springtime. It's taken me a few days to write as Mom has been sad after losing her good friend last week.
What makes me happy....
Generally, I try to take joy in each day, I especially do this after my health scare last year.
In the Springtime I love watching the birdies return, there were dozens of robins in the yard a couple weeks ago-a harbinger of Spring.
Yesterday, it was warm enough for me to go out on the screened porch for the first time this year and I had a puddle of sunshine to enjoy in the afternoon.
I love the fresh mountain air when when the windows are open.
I like to watch Mom work outside, she enjoys this.
I like to laugh when Mom startles the resident black snake and screeches, hehehehe,it resides in the back corner by the garden. Mom has made peace with it as it is territorial and helps keep venomous snakes away. Mom has learned to use a rake when moving straw, mulch etc.
Spring is a beautiful time of year, everyone enjoy.
Hmmm, we don't have a black snake living in our yard, but there are garden snakes keeping varmints out of our den...and sometimes we see blue racers they are furry pretty, even for a snake. Meowmy is not scared of them, just kind of grossed out when she finds one were we didn't expect it, MOL! Like in our basement! OMC!
We like to sit in open windowsills and watch meowmy do yard work, too...except not that noisy lawn mower...that's even worse than a vacuum cleaner...
And sun...ahhh...so wonderfully warm and soothing!
Happy Spring to you!
I like watching the birdies too.
I'm still waiting for the weather to be warm enough to have windows open.
What a nice spring you are having--happiness, birdies, sun puddles!
My meowmie doesn't like the snakes either. We had a giant garter snake last year and she was totally grossed out.
