I'm getting used to going down the mountain to the vet, I hardly cry anymore. I got the usual prodding and poking :( but there was some good news. My right lung is clear and there has been improvement in my left lung.
So, next week I get another xray and we're hoping for more good news.
My blood sugar was still high and my insulin dose was increased to 3 units. Dr. P says it can take a while to get me regulated. I am feeling better, I'm drinking less water and the litter box is much less wet. Mom says I look like I feel better, I'm sleeping better and my appetite is better.
We're sending big thank yous to all our friends who purred and thought about us during this difficult time. Love to everyone.

That's great news, Jack. Don't let the humans get too used to good behavior on the way to the vet, though. Yowling is good exercise for those lungs!
