Goku's Journal

Goku has survived!

Dr. (I forgot his name) told me that I brought Goku in just in time to the doctor. Another three hours and Goku could've been in kitty heaven. Goku suffered his first illness in five years. His urethra coming from his bladder was plugged up, and it his bladder was very full, so full that it was affecting his kidneys and having adverse reactions on his body. Goku was sick to his stomach about five different times. I took him to the vet immediately in the morning after the kids were in school. The doctor kept him over the weekend and placed a catheter in him and gave him some antibiotics and some other medicine to help him. At first when he came home he was urinating a lot of blood. It took a couple of days for him to be able to urinate back to normal. For a couple days I was constantly cleaning up his blood off the furniture and floors. Today we cleaned out his whole litter box and put in fresh litter, and Goku is using the kitty litter a lot more all the time. He is constantly in it! He is getting a LOT better. He only has to take medicine for one more day. I'm so glad he is alive. The doctor said that it is common for male cats to get this clogging of the urethra. :ugh!:

first day

my mommy is sick today, so i've been sleeping most of the day. she has been missing wibba, so she put me on catster to make her happier and to see the other cute kitties. i just wanna sleep; it is raining, so the birds aren't out to play like they were yesterday. my friend next door must have been inside too. zzzz
