it was a lost little dog that escaped from it's back yard. It was dark but Mom knew it wasn't a cat because she could see by the street light the vistor had floppy ears. She went to the door and called to it and the dog came to her. She carried it in the house to get the lead off my harness so she could take the dog home. We all just sat and stared when she carried it in with her. Mind you we were in the door way ready to head upstairs if we needed too. It was too wiggly and way to excited for us to make furiends with it. The dog's pawrents came hunting for it and mom got their attention so they could come pick it up. We were glad to see that the dog was heading home and not staying for the night. Such excitment

Damants........

Yesterday I go out in the kitchen for a snack and what do I find but little creep crawly things carrying my food away!! They are not trying to eat it where it sets, like I would do they want to take it with them. "Carry out" is what I guess you'd call it. These things are really small and it takes quite a few of them to try to carry a piece of my food and by how far they tried to take one peice I guess they have a long way to go before they can enjoy it. I don't mind sharing, besides who wants it when they have had their little legs all over it so I was willing to let them have it and just go find Mom and have her fill my bowl. When Mom saw what was happening I heard her mumble something about "damants" as she took the little guys and their "carry out" scooped them up in a paper towel and threw them in the waste basket. I don't think she really helped them get where they wanted to go with their "carry out". Not sure why but Mom picked up my food bowl and put it in a new place, and put the water bowl beside it. Not liking the move I went back over and set down where my bowl used to be, but she didn't take the hint just got a cup of food and put it in the bowl, in it's new place. I still sat in protest until hunger got the best of me and I gave in. All because of those damants wanted "carry out".

We say NO TO NUTRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We think that Nuto is a very poor choice to be allowed to advertise, especially on the "Food" page on Catster. The reason we feel this way is because the quality control of the food is in question. Mom has decided that we need to help get the word out since she ACTUALLY was so concerned about it that she changed us from MaxCat/Nutro when Nutro was having recalls on their dog foods for salmonilla. We had been MaxCat/Nutro kitties from the time that I was adopted and my kits had been since they were born. See we are FHV kitties and our Vet told mom and paw that we should be fed a good quality food to help our immune systems control the Herpes virus along with doses of L-lysine. The potential problems that could come from 4 kitties being feed a food mom could not trust made her hunt for a different brand. Just after that a quality control issue with MaxCat/Nutro adding 2 to 3x'x more copper and then incorrect levels of zinc and potassium causing kitties to become ill and die. What was worse was that was to have been recalled was still on petfood store shelves in some areas of the United States made her REALLY HAPPY that she had switched us when she did. Now it continues with incorrect amounts of vitamin D3. Now you can see why we feel the way we do about this company. You ALSO need to know that the parent company makes Greenies. We used to LOVE Greenies, but the risk is too great they are also not in our household any more.

You are probably wondering where all the information came from to help make up my mom's mind. Any one has access to it at Consumeraffairs.com .

my 3 kits, Shadow, Snoopur and Bear, turned 4 (in human years) yesterday. Mom got some Tuna Fancy Feast Appetizers for us to have for their Birthday supper. For a present they got new tunnel to play in that I got to test it out too. We played chase, hide and go seek in and around the tunnel.

Thanks to everyone that wished them a Happy Birthday!!
