Arrival Story:
One rainy week in May 2006 I found a front porch that gave lots of shelter. I kept my distance from my future pet parents, but became more sociable when they put a bowl of food and water out. I finally allowed them to pet me and decided that they needed a cat like me around. I still would not come in the house. I had a runny nose and was sneezing. They opened one end of the decon's bench that was on the porch put a towel in for warmth and I stayed in there out of the wind and rain until one day I decided to check out the indoors. I would look around for a while, but always wanted to return outside. They had set up a litter box and more food dishes in the house. They took me to the vet for my cold and found that I was going to be a momma and I have lived with them as an mostly indoor kitty ever since.

I'm a mother of 4. One was adopted out and 3 live with me. I am an FHV kitty on L-lysine.

Mom has always wanted to design her own back grounds for our pages. She finally got a chance to and put together some neat looking ideas and with some coaching from the Catster group Pawsome Pages put together a CSS that put it all together.

yesterday was not a great day for Mom. She read in the newspaper police reports someone seeing a group of juveniles harming a cat in an alley behind the post office in town. An officer found no evidence of what was reported but radioed in that he had found a cat and it had died in the squad car. That made her MAD and she shot a letter off to the editor expressing her outrage at what had happened and that not only the juveniles but also their parents are held accountable. She is hoping that others that read it too are as MAD as she is and writes in too.
What made her Sad yesterday is how Paw is being treated by his sister when it comes to his elderly parents. She has become very nasty towards him and had hurt both his and Mom's feelings. Mom even wrote a email, but has decided if she sends it she would be no better then the sister. We are all trying to purr those hurtful and negative things away.

We got to have the window open and smell that fresh air! I was enjoying it so much that I almost missed Mom dusting off the stroller and heading towards the door. Shadow didn't and was already in it. I ran in jumped in the back and Shadow got mad and jumped out, but when Mom opened the door to go outside Shadow got right back in again and Mom zipped up the back door of the stroller and off we went. The robins were hopping around and the grass was green. I thought it looked good enough to eat. When we got home from our stroll I got out right away but Shadow stayed in to get the ride in the house to the place were Mom keeps the stroller. She wants to get all the ride, she really loves strolling!
