Arrival Story:
One rainy week in May 2006 I found a front porch that gave lots of shelter. I kept my distance from my future pet parents, but became more sociable when they put a bowl of food and water out. I finally allowed them to pet me and decided that they needed a cat like me around. I still would not come in the house. I had a runny nose and was sneezing. They opened one end of the decon's bench that was on the porch put a towel in for warmth and I stayed in there out of the wind and rain until one day I decided to check out the indoors. I would look around for a while, but always wanted to return outside. They had set up a litter box and more food dishes in the house. They took me to the vet for my cold and found that I was going to be a momma and I have lived with them as an mostly indoor kitty ever since.

I'm a mother of 4. One was adopted out and 3 live with me. I am an FHV kitty on L-lysine.

Eve's petition.....

has reached the 1,000 names needed to be submitted. The names came from all around the world & from our little corner we would like to thank everyone that signed Eve's petition & for caring about the treatment of shelter animals as much as we do.

Mom and I were so very sad to hear about Alfie . We know that Wally will take him under his big "pink wings".

The New Shelter Challenge has started on the Animal Rescue- Site!!

Time to get voting again for the Blind Cat Rescue in NC! We were able to help them receive $1,000 in the last one.

Eve's petition has over 800 names on it now! PLEASE visit EVE's Catster diary to find out about it and why it was started.

was so neat when mom found long lost pix of kitties mom had before I came along. She found ones of Ginger and Fluff while looking for something retro to be posted on Face Book.

My family and I want to help sweet angel Eve get more signatures on her petition. PLEASE visit EVE's Catster diary if you have not done so. Her story is an important one that draws attention to the health and well being of shelter animals. Her petition has over 700 names from all over the world you will find a link there that will take you to it.

Oh and mom lost the map on my Catster page that showed all my furiends and where they lived. She has put up another one and gave it some "bling". She felt bad that it got lost when I was having "page problems". We must give a tip of the paw to the "Pawsome Pages" tech's who helped us solve the problem.
