Arrival Story:
After I lost little Mogok, (see Mogok's page) I went back to the breeder for another Birman kitten. She had a litter born 5-28-92, the day we purchased Mogok. I went to look at the kittens. There was one very tiny one that was really cute. She told me it was a boy. I bought the kitten. When I got it home, it was a girl, but I wasn't about to take it back. I named her Myingyan, which is the name of a city and a district in the Mandalay division of central Burma. There's not a lot to tell about Myingyan's life with us. She was a beautiful and sweet cat. Over the next year, I bought three male Birman's from the same breeder and years later acquired two of her former breeding cats. Another male kitten chose me sometime in between. Myingyan left us on 8-22-01.
