Coloration: Silver Tabby
Likes: Snuggling with his brother Cougar and playing with him. Also, Sammy and especially Pumpkin, his number one little lady. Eating is good as well.
Pet-Peeves: Being separated from his brother Cougar or Pumpkin, and going to the vet! And getting his ears cleaned - yuck!
Favorite Toy: Catnip toys and honeysuckle toys. Milk rings and Q-TIPS, he's obsessed. And drinking straws (also obsessed). Another fun one is strips of yellow plastic strapping (mommy actually bought a huge roll of this for him). Plastic bottle tops are good too.
Favorite Nap Spot: Next to his brother in their matching beds on a shelf. Or Sammy, Pumpkin, or next to mommy.
Favorite Food: Cat food definitely, but sometimes I'll help my brother clean the dishes of the people food. And he certainly loves dried chicken and salmon treats, or tuna flakes.
Skills: Very good jumper and long meows! He also steals straws (sometimes with a can of soda attached!) and Q-tips.
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: After losing our beloved Tiger to cancer last year, we were grief stricken (especially my husband who had a very close bond with him). Even worse, our three other kitties were very depressed - especially Tiger's little sister Lily (who is over 10 years old) and Tiger's little buddy Davy (who has cardiomyopathy so stress is not good for him). We decided that the best thing to do was to adopt a new little kitty. We wanted a young one that wouldn't challenge our existing cats. So, we called up the Cat Connection in CA where we had adopted Emerald Star and asked if they had any kittens. The woman who runs the adoptions told us she had some being fostered and put us in touch with their foster mom. After talking with the foster mom, she told us she had 2 little 6 week old boys (brothers) that had been born to a cat whose medical history was well-known and was indoors. This was too much of a good chance to miss as we were concerned with any medical conditions affecting our other little kitties. We raced over to see them and were going to choose one, but of course, my husband and I couldn't decide so we took them both as they were so sweet! When we introduced them to their new kitty family, wouldn't you know it, they cheered both Davy and Lily right up and gave them purpose to teach the little ones the ways of being a cat. Now they're one big happy family and I'm so grateful for these little cuties to cheer both my husband and I up, as well as our kitties (and now Emerald Star has some boys to play with as she was youngest - on her terms of course!). And it's adorable to watch the two little brothers snuggle up together - they're really inseparable! TJ is the smaller of the two and will sometimes help his brother clean up table scraps (but he's not as into it as his brother is). TJ is not as dominant as his brother and loves to tag along with him. He's also more of a mommy's kitty (which is fair since Cougar spends lots of time with daddy). He also loves to make long very vocal meows, which is so adorable! And did I mention that we brought them home, they immediately knew how to use the litter box, and ate lots of food! Also, these two are very water oriented. They love the water from the sink and will even walk a little in bathtub water (just a little, not too much). So they now have little water fountains to drink from, but still like the water from the tap! They also ended up teaching our newest addition, Sammy, the ways of being a cat (especially TJ who Sammy thinks is his father!)! We couldn't have picked a more perfect duo to fit into our little cat family. Great little boys!
Bio: TJ is the lighter of the two brothers and is a beautiful silver color with the same markings as Cougar but in a lighter shade (little ocicat spots all over and concentrated on his belly).

Wow, I've been tagged too - and I'm the first boy in the family to be tagged (the girls always get all the fun)! Okay, here goes:
The Rules!!
Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to tag and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary.
Okay, so now some things about me:
1 ) I was adopted with my brother Cougar who looks like me.
2) I am a mommy's kitty - both my human mommy and my adopted kitty mommy Lily.
3) I am named for mommy and daddy's angel kitty Tiger - that's why I'm TJ for Tiger Jr.
4) I am a silver tabby with ocicat spots, especially on my belly.
5) My best friends are my brother Cougar and my adopted brother Sammy, as well as my adopted cat daddy Davy.
6) All my toes are gray.
7) I have white mittens and very big eyes like Puss in boots (so you'll want to do anything for me).
Okay, I'm off to tag:
Teal'c
Alfie
Oreo
Carbon

Queenie

TJ
P.S. Mommy didn't mention that I LOVE water! Especially water from the faucet. How could she not mention that?
Wow, my first diary entry! And guess what, today is my birthday! And my brother Cougar's too! We're 1! Can anyone believe it? Mommy and Daddy can't! They've been singing us the birthday song and mommy hugged me and kissed me - the indignity of it all! BUT we both got special treats and hugs and kisses (but we only really liked the treats part). I'm a big grown up boy now, which means lots more naps and more eating I guess, I really don't know. I'll have to ask my brother, but he doesn't seem to know either. Oh well, as long as I'm still my mommy's handsome little greyhound (she says I look like a greyhound cat and she promises me that means I'm very cute). I even got extra belly scratches today on my spotted tummy! Yay!
