Arrival Story:
Dad said don't let the stray in, in the dead of a -30C Canadian winter. Cody, our other cat, wouldn't chase her off, so Missy'd follow her in and chow down on her food. And we'd be forced to throw her out again. Until just before Christmas we came home to find her curled up in Dad's lap in the basement, purring up a storm. We think she was dumped in our neighbourhood, since she was too friendly to be a complete stray
Bio:
Missy became ill in mid 2008 however she kept going strong. Unfortunately in early 2010 she began losing patches of fur and in the last week of May, she stopped being able to eat despite being extremely hungry. An emergency trip to the vet indicated an advanced tumour in her mouth. Her last day with us was May 29, 2010 after blessing us for 16 years.
