Flame Point

teasing his dog, Kodah and the old cat, Cheyenne

Favorite Toy:
a string, but mostly Kodah

Favorite Nap Spot:
He has this little fleece bed. All you have to do to settle him down is get the leash and he crawls in his bed and goes to sleep. He will sleep anyplace as long as his fleece bed is there.

Favorite Food:
IVET is what he eats - but I am afraid this guy is a foodaholic!! Milk he loves! ice cream! He will try anything!

Teasing Kodah when he is napping! begging!!

Arrival Story:
We had just gotten a puppy Kodah. We wanted him to have a kitten to grow up with. We took Kodah to Petsmart and there was this kitty in a cage on top of a dog cage and with a bunch of other dog cages..all dogs barking.. poor kitten.. Kodah and the kitty were the same colors and they liked each other so we just couldn't leave him there.

Kenai was found in a tree during an ice storm. He was starving and couldn't get down. No one knew how long he had been there but it looked like it had been quite a while. He was very under sized and very sick. A nice lady nurtured him back to health. When we got him he was still sickly. He is looking better every day. Kenai has spells of being sick but mostly is an active little ornery boy! We had a hard time trying to decide on a name for "Speckles". That was his name when we got him. Well we wanted a name that went with Kodah. Have any of you seen the children's movie, Brother Bear? In the movie there is a bear cub named Kodah. A Native American named Kenai kills the cubs mommy and so the Great Spirit turns him into a bear. As a bear he becomes the protector of this lonely cub and soon they become brothers. Thus the two brothers.. Kodah and Kenai. Kodah and Kenai (dog and cat) have a great love for each other. They are quite the pair!! I am sure they will have a long relationship! And our lives will never quite be the same.

We had wanted a cat to go camping with us. It is amazing! this guy took to the big truck right away! NEVER a fuss! He loves the camper and he loves to travel. It was just amazing to us that he was just what we wanted.
