Favorite Toy: Lazer pointer, rubber bands, small bugs.
Favorite Nap Spot: Near Mommy, on Mommy's lap, or behind her knees if she's resting.
Favorite Food: Crunchy tuna treats! Helping Mommy finish her cereal milk.
Skills: Peridot taught herself to snap a hairband across the room so she could chase it.
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: Peridot followed us home after straying in the local lot for a month, or so people told us (we had just moved in). She was about six months old at the time and starving. She charmed both of us within three days with her intelligence and affectionate demeanor.
Bio: Peridot has medium long hair which is very soft and shiny. Her eyes are Peridot green. She is probably at least part Siamese or purrhaps Burmese, as she has quite a distinct, loving personality. Perri is extremely trusting and gentle, playful, and clever. She loves to "help" me in whatever I'm doing (thanks, cutie). Perri happily greets any visitor at the door, sniffing new ones carefully.
Lives Remaining: 8 of 9

I've Been On Catster Since:
Mommy tried to pet me this morning with the same hand that had touched... The Alien!!!! I backed up really quickly and gave her The Look so that she knew it wasn't purrsonal, just situational. What was she THINKING???
I have tried to nudge my head into the 2nd bath where The Alien is staying -- if only to get a closer inspection of the interesting food that is in there. Unfortunately I get pushed aside and told "back" by Mommy and of course because i'm a Good Girl I willingly comply.
It's still a very curious situation, though.
It doesn't stop me from meowing in the morning and rolling over right by the door so I get attention, too. The little Alien needs to know who's Queen of The Domain, after all!!
Mommy is acting really odd. She came home with something in a carrier yesterday and put it in the 2nd bathroom. It keeps chirping. My brother Munch and I just keep staring at the door and wondering what's behind it.
Mommy smells funny and so do the bottom of her jeans and her sneakers when she comes out of there. I also hear suspicious snuggling noises within the room....
Then again, Mommy has been snuggling me on a regular basis, and we seem to have gotten more treats of late. Maybe change is a good thing? Hmm....
