The counter top by the coffee machine. If the "Master" spots her there, she races out of the kitchen immediately. If I see her there she stares at me with a "what you gunna do about it" expression before returning to sleep.

Arrival Story:
My husband went to the pound looking for the most vocal outgoing kitten he could find. Apparently she was reaching out of her cage, getting her claw stuck in his shirt, mewing loudly as a crazy kitten will do. He drove her 8 hours from the Miami pound to Tallahassee, claiming hat she wouldn't shut up the whole drive until she was comfortably seated in his lap. To this day she hollars in the car. . .many many hours and doesn't get board of it. She's not too vocal otherwise. . .just in the car.

Bio:
This kitty belongs to "Master" (aka Papa). "Master" wanted a page for his kitty but didn't want his own account. At least this way, she is linked to the family. But she is all Papa's kitty (only he refers to himself as Master). I think she's quite obnoxious and a bit cranky. Then again, I'd be cranky too if my huMAN brought home another woman :p

Need advice for calorie intake and weight loss.

The pictures posted are a year or more old. Since I took over care of the pets' health, Nexus has lost some weight. No more crappy cardboard-crunch from WalMart. (I've also significantly improved the health of my huMan :) ) Of other interest is how she lost one of her lives: Apparently, along with cardboard-crunch, the "Master" thought Hartz flea protection was as good as any other. This was before I was on the scene, but I hear she did, indeed, nearly die from it. The huMan won't let me purchase any Hartz products whatsoever as a result. "sigh" This kitty might not like me much, but she sure is lucky I'm in charge of her health regimen now.
