Arrival Story:
My husband went to the pound looking for the most vocal outgoing kitten he could find. Apparently she was reaching out of her cage, getting her claw stuck in his shirt, mewing loudly as a crazy kitten will do.
He drove her 8 hours from the Miami pound to Tallahassee, claiming that she wouldn't shut up the whole drive until she was comfortably seated in his lap. To this day she hollers in the car. . .many many hours and doesn't get board of it. She's not too vocal otherwise. . .just in the car.
Bio:
Nexus is the Master's kitty all the way. If he catches her on the counter she runs before he even has a chance to yell at her. If I catch her on the counter, she will just sit there as I walk closer, giving me a look of "Well, what are you going to do about it?" Then proceeds to hiss at me if I enforce the rules and chase her to the laundry room for a time out.

Need advice for calorie intake and weight loss.
The pictures posted are out-of-date. Since I took over care of the pets' health, Nexus has lost a lot weight. No more crappy cardboard-crunch from WalMart. (I've also significantly improved the health of my huMan :) )
Of other interest is how she lost one of her lives: Apparently, along with cardboard-crunch, the "Master" thought Hartz flea protection was as good as any other. This was before I was on the scene, but I hear she did, indeed, nearly die from it. The huMan won't let me purchase any Hartz products whatsoever as a result. "sigh"
This kitty might not like me much, but she sure is lucky I'm in charge of her health regimen now.
