Arrival Story:
We adopted her from Operation Kindness when she was about 13 weeks old. She chose her own name. I was reading names out loud from a baby book, and Mali is the only name she'd respond to. Mali means "jasmine flower" in Thai, and ironically, Mali had been found in a flower bed.
Bio:
Mali is incredibly friendly to me, and average to people she knows. But she is absolutely petrified of strangers and will hide from them.
Mali suffers from psychogenic neurodermatitis, a condition which causes her to chew off all her belly fur. She's had various anti-anxiety treatments for the condition, but the fur chewing always comes back when the meds stop.
