Arrival Story:
I had just moved to Florida, into my very first apartment on my own. I had expressed to one of my new friends how i wanted a cat but didn't want to pay the pet deposit. A few nights after that statement that friend called me up stating he had a surprise for me and an hour later was on my doorstep. He said how he got home from work and found her running around his neighborhood. Obviously the mother cat had a litter somewhere in the neighborhood and this one had gotten loose because she was barely old enough to be apart from the nourishment of her mother.

Bio:
Before I had my own cat I already knew I wanted to name it Balou. I knew that that was be an appropriate unisex name no matter which sex of cat I got. When Miss Balou fell into my arms it was just an appropriate perfectness that she was a russian Blue... named Balou (pronounced Bah-Loo)
