Arrival Story:
A customer at a store I used to work at knew I was looking for a cat. There was one that would hang around her place because she would leave food out for him and one or two other neighbourhood cats. Apparently he had been thrown out of one house in the neighbourhood, although I don' t know why, and just when she thought she had found another home for him, they moved and left him behind - all of this bad luck for a poor little black kitten! Anyway, she told me about him and brought him over to me that night. Within a couple of days, we brought him in to the vet's for a check-up and to be neutered. He probably thought he was being abandoned again as he ended up staying two nights at the vets. Anyway, they assessed him at roughly six to eight months and pronounced him in excellent health. He's been my little baby ever since, even now at almost fifteen pounds! He is the friendliest cat I know and is never far from my side.

Bio:
Edgar is completely black but when he lays in the sun, he turns a lovely chocolate brown. I've heard that this is common as some say that black cats aren't really black, but in fact a very dark brown.
